Let’s share this together ! Anywhere & Everywhere possible ! LET’S GO !
It is impossible to justify spending $2M USD on a church while leaving Kariba disaster survivors to scrape by on $100usd . This decision lays bare a government that uses public funds to buy favor rather than protect its people. When survival is priced at a hundred dollars, the moral compass of the state is entirely lost🚮🚮
@nickmangwana But musazodaro mukuru, propaganda used to work back then.. pakabhaizika panyaya iyi,the government should but 2 or 3 vessels to service that route and give those families bereavement fund that actually works..haaa pa $100 manyanya 😭. You guys in power drink that in 1 night..ma1
None of these people will talk about government's complicity in the death of 92+ people in Kariba. They can't criticize the devil that fed them!

I dont know how I would’ve reacted as a President but losing 93 people from a lake tragedy would consume my every thought , going to celebrate nemapostori and flying out of the country during such a devastating time was never going to be my priorities.🤞🏽
🔸92 dead and counting. So how many people had boarded the boat? If we cannot declare a period of national mourning here, when will we ever do so? The elites are too detached, too cosy in their mansions, too snug in their Range Rovers and too selfish to comprehend the enormity of the tragedy that has befallen the Kariba community. It’s a mess.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
🔸Please note that there was barely a life jacket in sight when the Kariba Ferry capsized. Yet suddenly, politicians are visiting the site for mileage and each of them has a brand new life jacket. These buggers are anti-poor and selfish. The madness of these optics is lost on them. You could not make this up.🙌🏽
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
I have declared 5 days of mourning as we reflect on the tragedy in Kariba. I have also appointed a Commission of Inquiry to interogate the circumstances of this tragedy. I have asked government to assist the bereaved families with all their needs to ensure that this tragedy does not weigh down on those left behind.
Government will cater for medical and mental health health needs of the survivors. I have cancelled my trip to Durban so I can travel to Kariba and console the families who have lost their loved ones. The whole of the country mourns with them. May we take this tragedy as an opportunity to reflect and fix our mistakes. Thank you!
Dear President Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa
Just in case you are not aware, I would like to bring this to your attention. This is the state of the iconic Birchenough Bridge today.
Bridges, Mr. President, require regular inspection, maintenance and repair. When steel components begin to deteriorate, corrode or crack, they must be professionally assessed and, where necessary, repaired or replaced.
As this photograph clearly shows, there is a substantial visible crack at one of the steel connections, accompanied by corrosion.
Whatever its structural significance ultimately proves to be, deterioration of this nature on a bridge carrying people and vehicles should trigger an urgent inspection by qualified bridge engineers.
This bridge was built in 1936, Mr. President, and it was maintained throughout the colonial era. Look at the state it is in today. This is not merely about appearance; it is about public safety and the responsibility of government to maintain critical national infrastructure.
I am bringing this to your attention publicly, Mr. President, so that if this bridge eventually collapses or a tragedy occurs because of its deteriorating condition, you and your colleagues in government will not be able to say that you did not know.
You have been warned. The condition of the bridge is there for everyone to see. Maintaining infrastructure is cheaper than rebuilding it after a disaster, and certainly cheaper than the loss of human life that can result from neglect.
"Iwe Wosvora! Zimbabwe is rising! World Class! Vision2030! " Let's hear the slogans guys. When we tell you about the neglect we are unpatriotic. LET'S HEAR THE SLOGANS!!!!!
@muheediva01 I had ‘something’ stuck on my throat for the first 7 months, my teeth spaced out, my pelvic bone somehow got messed up, my bladder became loose for a few months… yooh yoooh yoooh
