Some quality writing and hilarity from @MrGuyKelly at @Telegraph. The absurdity of this labour government saying these kinds of things... the satire and comedy writes itself!

@BenGrahamUK Stalin had his five year plans. The west has just been doing the same thing over 50 years. It’s the same evil, just over a different span.
The Assisted Suicide Bill Committee has finished. My final speech here. This is not the Bill the public thought they were getting. It contradicts the NHS Act and the Hippocratic Oath. It's got worse, not better, in committee.
It’s often those outside the church who can see idolatry clearer than we can.
@IsabelHardman on the Smyth coverup in @TheSpectator:
“They seemed to think their God was so small that he relied on them to carry on his work, rather than that he could do just fine without them.”
Last time I use @McDonaldsUK or @ubereats_uk, we’ve just received our meal cold, 1.5hrs late. Having called your support you said there is nothing you can do. This is unacceptable, please can someone from customer service sort this out. I’m not paying for cold, late food.
@RDLaverty Sorry, my brain didn't communicate that to my keyboard well. Yes, it ought to, particularly if that church wants to model and take seriously the ministry of the home as an outworking of christian living.
Friends, I’m wanting to get a new planner for 2024. I usually use moleskine but need a bit more focus than they provide. Ideally for ministry context! What would you recommend, or at least what elements do you find helpful? Thanks hivemind!
@PrettySophieK Surely the actual picture is two foot prints and then two lines where we were dragged along. Brings a new meaning to irresistible grace.
