I've been working on a note taking app that is structured like Discord.
- Code is opened sourced.
- All notes are stored locally on your device.
- Full markdown support.
The binaries (macOS, windows, linux) are available in the repo if you want to try it out.

Realistically as a developer/engineer how do you stand out these days.
It used to be the case where if you had a semi interesting/complicated side project it'd be enough to get noticed, but with AI anyone can put together a decently complex project.
What's the avenue now?
Bedrock or Java? Bedrock is a hassle to play on linux tbh. Java works fine but I don't know much about making modpacks, but I'd imagine you'd be fine.
I don't know much about GZdoom but it looks like the official repo supports linux. Overall if you have the space I'd try dual booting linux just to try it out. If it doesn't work for you then you can remove it
@quidproquotr Fun and for job experience. It's not lost on me that AI can write good Rust code but I think it's worthwhile being able to evaluate to the code it writes
Wrote my first Rust program. Nothing fancy, but it got me comfortable with some of the basics and syntax.
The main thing is that I wanted to do this without relying on AI too much. I asked it some questions, but told it to not give me full answers so I could figure most things out on my own.

There are dozens of crypto related spaces every day but the hosts don't have direct avenues to monetization. @svaradotspace changes that.
You can now send ETH directly to space participant's wallets. If someone is leaking esoteric alpha you should be able to give them a tip.
