@eunseokdu@everyevie9 ? I said 'mostly straight men', MOSTLY which is true. Yes, there misogynistic gay men and are horrible and should be called out. There are also male centered women who protect abusers, ped*s and rapists and attack female victims.
@everyevie9 And yeah, sadly women do have very little games that center us however I don't think we will loose the genre of Otome Games as it's etymology itself centers the woman. Once it centers another gender it becomes another genre.
@everyevie9 I remember seeing it and honestly they DID get schooled. I believe it came from a place of not understanding the genre of Otome Games and seeing something cool looking and wanting to be a part of it too, but also some trolls online.
I personally haven't seen it happen since+
@everyevie9 But ppl are going to this community who probably had nothing to do with it and know nothing about it to 'get back at them' or something and ofc they're confused and offended +
@everyevie9 Women who can with no problem express their love to their male partner out in the world do not have to face the same thing as a queer person might. In many cases they get attacked, even killed.
@everyevie9 And we are talking about games that simulate relationships here, and when it comes to that, I'd say that queer people have a harder time than straight people. +
@arlellechino Seeing how the fandom behaves I feel embarrassed to have played LADS now. I can't stomach the game anymore and even seeing the characters... Inf*ld catered to the worst people and now the fandom is a cesspool of stupidity, hatred and bigotry
@nametags The OP just asked a question. I don't understand why you guys are getting so nasty about it 😕 Calling ppl illiterate, stupid, the r-word etc. is very unnecessary
