now this assumes writing skill and personal growth are the same thing.
they’re not.
ghostwriting is applied inside other people’s distribution systems, with different audiences, history, authority, and compounding already in place.
your own (or my own) account is a separate game: consistency, niche positioning, and long-term identity building.
also got to realize that plenty of high-level operators build for others because that’s where leverage is, not because they can’t grow their own page.
follower count measures distribution choice and most definitely not writing ability.
i hopes this clears your doubt rather than throwing uninteresting arguments all over CT.
plus writing for yourself (and on your page) as a ghostwriter is not a visibility game.
most of us do this because we don’t want to appear like we’re not doing what we’re preaching to potential clients.
the most +ve game is reaching out.
so d*ie down these boring arguments, we’ve had enough. focus on your KOL calling or something.

Genuine question for ghostwriters :
You help clients grow their audience and engagement, yet your own profile has only around 2,000 followers
If you’re able to grow someone’s following and engagement as you say
wouldn’t your own account reflect that first ?
every once in a while i remember that the internet lets a kid in a random corner of the world learn from the smartest people alive
that’s an absurd piece of technology when you think about it
The most honest thing you can put in a pitch deck:
Here’s what we got wrong in the last version and exactly why we think we’ve fixed it.
Nobody does this.
The ones who do raise faster than everyone else.
people think you need to “network” your way in
sometimes you just need to be clear enough publicly, that the right people pull you in
(this was one of those moments)
i don’t obsess over engagement metrics the way a lot of ghostwriters on here do
because founders don’t really need “loud” posts
they need posts that make the right people take them more seriously
a lot of virality is just reaction engineering:
controversy, ego hooks, outrage, absurd numbers
looks good for a day
but if the post doesn’t strengthen perception, attract the right audience, or deepen authority, most of that engagement is just smoke
