Loresong of Ragnarok Entertainment

Every legend starts with a spark. The UK’s next destination. Follow the journey as we build a venue where food, gaming and community unite.

Unpopular opinion: gaming venues sometimes focus so much on the games that they forget the people playing them.

Sometimes you want competition. Sometimes you want an adventure. And sometimes you just want somewhere to sit, eat, talk and spend time with your friends.

We’re developing L.O.R.E. in Leicester, UK, with the belief that a gaming venue should offer more than just games.

But what do you think?

Would you visit a gaming venue even on a night you weren’t planning to play anything?

Leicester, we’re building something different. 🇬🇧

L.O.R.E. is a gaming-first social venue concept bringing arcade gaming, tabletop adventures, competition, food, drinks and an immersive Norse-inspired world together under one roof.

Not just somewhere to play a game. Somewhere to meet people, discover new experiences and make a night of it.

We’re working towards bringing L.O.R.E. to Leicester, and we’d love to hear from the people who might one day walk through the doors.

Leicester locals: what would you most want to see in a venue like this?

Every group has a party composition. 🎲

Some come for the games. Some for the stories. Some for the food, the competition or whatever adventure the night brings.

And some are just there to make sure nobody follows the plan.

We’re building something different in Leicester — a place where gaming, social experiences and a world of stories come together.

Know someone who belongs in your adventuring party? Tag them below.

And if you’ve only just discovered L.O.R.E., follow us and join the journey from the beginning.

L.O.R.E. — your next adventure needs a party.

We want L.O.R.E. to feel bigger than a single building.

That means some experiences may send you looking a little further afield — following clues, discovering hidden locations, tracking down relics or taking part in activities that continue beyond the venue itself.

Think exploration.
Think geocaching.
Think finding something that wasn’t obvious at first glance.

We’re keeping the deeper mechanics under wraps for now, but the idea is simple:

The Realm should give you reasons to keep exploring.

Some adventures begin inside L.O.R.E.

Others may lead you somewhere unexpected.

Gaming is better when it gives people somewhere to belong.

L.O.R.E. is being built around more than individual activities. We want it to be a place where people can meet other gamers, find a clan, team up for challenges and keep those connections going beyond a single visit.

That community will grow both inside and outside the venue — through clans, our Discord, social media, future community events and opportunities to find people to play alongside.

You won’t need to arrive knowing everyone.

You might arrive looking for something to do and leave having found people you want to come back with.

And while the Realm is still being built, following L.O.R.E. and joining the community now is one of the best ways to be part of it from the beginning.

The Realm is better when it’s shared.

Why is accessibility still so often treated as something to add later?

We want L.O.R.E. to be designed with different people in mind from the beginning.

That means thinking about physical disability access when we choose and design our spaces.

It means looking at how we can make communication easier for Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests — including British Sign Language training for members of our team.

It means asking whether someone can actually take part in the experience, rather than simply whether they can get through the front door.

We won’t pretend we’ll get everything perfect immediately, and accessibility is something we expect to keep learning about as L.O.R.E. develops.

But one principle is already clear:

The Realm should be built for more people to enter it.

[Loresong of Ragnarok Entertainment @loresonghq]

Why does returning to a gaming venue so often mean returning to exactly the same experience?

Same surroundings.
Same beginning.
Same ending.

We think there’s something more interesting about a place that can change over time.

Where things you’ve seen before may not always remain the same.
Where progress can leave its mark.
Where returning means discovering what has changed since you were last there.

Some changes may be small.

Others may reshape the Realm itself.

And somewhere at the heart of that journey, the Bifröst is waiting.

L.O.R.E. is being designed as a world that moves forward

[Loresong of Ragnarok Entertainment @loresonghq]

Gaming venues are usually built around the game itself.

Play the activity. Finish the session. Move on.

But some of the best parts of a night out happen between those moments.

Sitting down together.
Sharing food.
Talking about what just happened.
Meeting people you might not have met otherwise.

We think social space should be part of the experience, not an afterthought.

L.O.R.E. is being designed with room to gather, not just room to play.

#GameOn #gaminguk #fantasygaming #worldbuilding #gaymers #gamers

[Loresong of Ragnarok Entertainment @loresonghq]

A lot of entertainment venues are built around a single experience.

You go there, do the thing, finish, leave — and if you want something different, you travel somewhere else and pay again.

More travel.
More bookings.
More separate experiences that never really connect.

And when the night is over, everything resets.

We want L.O.R.E. to feel different.

A place where the experience doesn’t end the moment one activity does — and where returning feels like continuing something, not starting from zero.

One night shouldn’t have to feel like a collection of disconnected stops.

Some characters begin as words on a page.

Then comes the harder part — finding the voice that makes them feel real.

We’ve been working on one of the figures who will help give L.O.R.E. its voice: someone who will guide, observe, tell stories and be there as the Realm begins to unfold.

We’re not ready to introduce him properly just yet.

But finding the right sound, weight and personality for that voice matters to us.

Because when you finally hear him, we want it to feel like he has always belonged there.

[Loresong of Ragnarok Entertainment @loresonghq]

Everything seems to be becoming a subscription.

Pay monthly. Pay annually. Pay again just to keep access to something you already enjoy.

That’s not how we want L.O.R.E. to work.

We want people to return because the venue gives them a reason to — new experiences, new stories, new events, familiar faces — not because they’re paying an annual fee for special access.

There may be things you choose to pay for when you visit, of course.

But simply being part of the Realm shouldn’t require a membership subscription.

Come back because you want to. Not because you have to.

Not every adventure in L.O.R.E. will happen on a screen.

Some will unfold slowly, one decision at a time.

Around a table.
With a party beside you.
Through stories that can last a single evening — or many.

We’re creating space for people who want to gather, roll the dice, build worlds and see where the story takes them.

Some legends are played. Others are told.

L.O.R.E. — Leicester, coming soon.

Who is L.O.R.E. for?

For the people who love games.
For the people who love stories.
For the ones who want to compete, explore, meet new people, try something different, or just spend an evening somewhere that feels unlike the usual.

You don’t need to be a hardcore gamer.
You don’t need to know Norse mythology.
You don’t need to arrive with a group.

Come for the food.
Come for the games.
Come for the atmosphere.
Come because you’re curious.

L.O.R.E. is being built for people who want more from a night out.

However you enter the Realm, there should be a place for you in it.

Untamed Heart

First came the tracks.
Then the watching wild.
Then the silence beneath the trees.
Then the rider from the mist.

Now, at last, the wild answers as one.
Wings, claws, hooves and shadows in motion.

What was once only a whisper in the Realm
has become something impossible to ignore.

The Untamed Heart has awakened.

You don’t need to arrive with a party.

Come alone.
Come with friends.
Come because you’re curious.

L.O.R.E. is being built as a place where paths cross, clans form, conversations start, and strangers can become part of the same story.

Sometimes the people you enter the Realm with won’t be the people you leave it with.

You just have to take the first step.

Untamed Heart

First came the tracks.
Then the watching wild.
Then the hush beneath the trees.

Now, at last, a rider emerges from the mist.

No call has been sounded.
No horn has been raised.
And still, the Realm knows:
something untamed has arrived.

Why Leicester?

When we started looking for the first home of L.O.R.E., we wanted more than just a building.

We wanted a city with history, personality and a strong sense of community — somewhere that could become part of the identity of the Realm itself.

Leicester gave us that.

It’s a city where old and new already sit side by side, with a growing cultural scene and the kind of character we felt matched what we’re trying to build.

So this is where the first Hall will rise.

Where the first stories will be told.

And where the path across the Bifröst will begin.

L.O.R.E. begins in Leicester.

Untamed Heart

Before the riders are seen,
before the call is heard,
the wild grows still.

Paths darken.
The trees listen.
And somewhere beyond sight,
something ancient is drawing near.
