I saw @lorettakea pursue her visual art talent and passion over the past years and the growth of her work is inspirational. What I like most about her work is her packaging in making visual art so cool. Last time we had fun at her studio bubbed THE ART LAB in Phakalane. It's was RNB, wine , cheese and wine.
Apart from my rich taste of grandeur, as a fellow female artist, it is crucial to support and uplift other women in the visual arts industry. Here are some reasons why supporting women in visual arts is important:
1. Representation: Women have been historically underrepresented and marginalized in the art world. By supporting and showcasing the work of female artists, we can help to amplify their voices and highlight their contributions to the art world.
2. Empowerment: Supporting women in visual arts can help to empower them to continue creating and pursuing their artistic passions. It can also inspire other female artists to follow their dreams and have the confidence to showcase their work.
3. Creativity: Women bring unique perspectives and experiences to their art, which can help to enrich and diversify the visual arts community. By supporting women in visual arts, we can help to promote creativity and innovation in the industry.
4. Community: By supporting and collaborating with other female artists, we can help to build a strong sense of community and solidarity within the visual arts world.
Please if you can, support Loretta s well packaged art outings. Together we can.
