@Mulysa@skybluelixie Yes it actually is. They (Korean males) can choose to go when they want to up until the age limit they have to go by. It's mandatory, but they can choose to go whenever they want between the age range that is required.
@Sunflower_sk_@ot8_jojo@skybluelixie Not hearing anything (except solo projects) over enlistments can be as much of a killer as not seeing anything. It's really both. I don't know what SKZ will do, but I don't think it's out of the realm to see them doing something different like the other commenter suggested.
@Sunflower_sk_@ot8_jojo@skybluelixie That and there are 2 members that will not be enlisted at all. Also if they did do something different for example with new music releases, they aren't really "gone" then are they? They just aren't around for promos that only a few people get to attend anyway.
@backsdoors It was actually 15 years ago! Which is WILD! He came at 13 international age, 15 Korean age. Then trained for 7 years and debuted at 20. So happy to see his dreams coming true for all of his sacrifices!
@billboardskz@Stray_Kids This century??? It's actually EVER. They are the only artist to EVER do this. Saying this century makes it sound like someone did it before.
@starrydrops00@bibyves1 It'll be a Korean release based on Step Out saying there'd be 2 albums this year. And I'm leaning towards a repackage but we'll see.
@bibyves1@starrydrops00 Step Out doesn't ever mention Japanese albums. In the 2025 Step Out, it only said "2 Albums," and as with previous years that's only referencing Korean releases.
@mydearmocha@yangskzz Just say you're not well read and move on. SKZ has only referenced Robert Frost, Homer, Jules Verne, Aldous Huxley, Robert Lewis Stevenson, Paulo Coelho, Paul Valéry etc in lyrics before. But you're surface level so you obviously wouldn't get it.
@RosaQuokka@yangskzz They've referenced Robert Frost, Homer, Jules Verne, Aldous Huxley, Robert Lewis Stevenson, Paulo Coelho, Paul Valéry, & who knows what countless others. Most stays have no clue who most of these people are sadly so of course they won't get it.
@RosaQuokka@yangskzz How about this? IT'S ALL OF THEM. SKZ notoriously writes lyrics with double, triple or more meanings. The amount of literary references they've made in their music is nuts. Genius level stuff.
@verti_go_icarus@yangskzz Nemo references far more than just Disney tho. It's MUCH, MUCH deeper. It's also a Homer "Odyssey"/Jules Verne "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" reference.
@LinoisbundelBoy@yangskzz Just a "silly rap" tying in a Homer "Odyssey" reference, a Jules Verne "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" reference with a Disney "Nemo" reference. You're totally right, nothing big to see here. 👀👀👀
@khiaflip@linobesito@yangskzz And not to mention just fun pop culture references like Disney, peanut butter jelly time, and so on. Make it genius, but also make it fun. My lyrical kings!
@khiaflip@linobesito@yangskzz I've learned to never take their lyrics at face value bc what do u mean you've used Robert Frost, Homer, Jules Verne, Aldous Huxley, Robert Lewis Stevenson, Paulo Coelho, Paul Valéry, & who knows what countless other literary references for lyrics. It's genius level stuff y'all.
