I worked in a slaughterhouse.
I saw first hand their slow march of death, the terror in their eyes and the screams of helplessness ringing in my ears.
Trust me, they knew their fate.
They were alive. Then weren’t.
Nobody mourned.
I’m Vegan for them. Not me.
It’s not just a diet
"Our diets are killing us, and doctors aren't trained to help." Poor diet is a leading cause of death in the U.S., but doctors aren't trained to talk to their patients about nutrition. Great op-ed in @thehill: https://t.co/HSyfj4BwON
Social media is the NEW frontier for animal rights. ✊
The vast majority of the public don't know what's happening to animals. But once they learn, they're appalled.
Join me in telling them: https://t.co/0IbIsjfo77 🌟
Investigators followed transport trucks from @fairoaksfarms, and what they found was shocking. Despite many written statements from Fair Oaks that their male calves were not sent to veal farms, the trucks arrived at Midwest Veal.

The dairy industry separates babies after birth because humans buy dairy products.
If female, the calves will become milk making money machines & if male they are slaughtered for meat.
They all die when no longer profitable.
You don't need meat or dairy to be healthy. #GoVegan
At 5 years of age, she became a mother for the 3rd time. Each baby was taken away from her within 24h.
Too weak to stand up. Still being poked, (electric shocks).
She could potentially become 20 years old. But what do we do to thank her for her service? Yes: The slaughterhouse.
"More than 10,000 studies in peer-reviewed journals show that a diet based on whole plant foods leads to higher life expectancy and lower rates of cancer, heart disease, type 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and other chronic ailments." Great article in @USATODAY! https://t.co/tm9h0UQd4d
Option A: Grow food. Eat it.
Option B: Grow food. Forcibly breed animal. Raise animal. Feed food to animal for years. Kill animal. Eat animal.
How is there still a discussion about which of the two options is better for the environment???
~80% of Amazon deforestation is due to animal farming. When the "lungs of the earth" are on fire, and we have Impossible Burgers and plant-based cheese, is the death knell ringing for factory farms?
The end of animal farming may come sooner than you think https://t.co/PZ4l4hxiha
