our days. One city. A whole lot of soul in the frame.
From the first pour to the final note, every corner of this weekend told a different story. The music, the food, the people, the energy and all those moments in between came together to create something that could only happen here in Louisville.
You sang along. You raised a glass. You found new favorites and came back for the ones you already loved. Most of all, you made this weekend your own.
Louisville, thank you for showing up, staying awhile and going BEYOND with us. Until next time. ✨
Apparently, I’ve committed a terrible offense. I said something nice about Taylor Swift. My post hit 1.7 million views, and now I’m getting people telling me I caved to the Taylor Swift fans, that I got bullied into apologizing, and that I’m a simp.
No, folks. I didn’t cave. I didn’t suddenly become a Swiftie. Nobody sent me a friendship bracelet. I’m still listening to George Jones.
I simply saw something I thought was good and said so.
What I saw was a woman who looked proud of her man. She was cheering for him. She looked happy to be his wife. And I thought, “You know what? I like that.” That’s it. Apparently, we’ve reached a point where you’re not allowed to compliment somebody unless you agree with everything they’ve ever done.
I talk all the time about marriage, commitment and how nice it would be if people actually celebrated being married instead of treating marriage like some kind of temporary subscription service.
So when I see a woman with millions of young women watching her, proudly standing beside her husband, I’m going to say that’s a good thing. I don’t care if her name is Taylor Swift or Wanda from the Waffle House.
And here’s the part I really mean, Taylor Swift is a role model to a lot of women. I’m not a big Taylor Swift fan. I don’t know half the songs. But if she can make being proud of your husband, loving your marriage and cheering for your man look cool to millions of women, I’m all for it.
Maybe somebody watching her thinks, “You know what? I want that.” That matters.
And men, by the way, this works both ways. Give her something to be proud of. Be the guy she wants to brag about. Love your woman. Stand beside her. Make her feel like she made a good decision.
So no, Taylor Swift didn’t convert me. I’m not buying a red scarf and sitting in the front row.
I just saw a woman being proud of her marriage and thought, “Good for her.”
If that makes me a simp, apparently I’m a simp who still has a George Jones playlist.
I can live with that.
We live in a culture where a wife publicly trashing her husband is “relatable,” but Taylor Swift enthusiastically cheering for hers is somehow cringe.
That’s completely backwards.
The constant “my husband is an incompetent idiot” shtick isn’t funny, it’s corrosive.
Normalize actually liking your husband.
Cheer for him. Brag about him. Be embarrassingly proud of him.
Marriage could use a lot more of that.
Welcome to 2026, where feminists thinks Sydney Sweeney doing a sexy ad is setting women back, but Lindsay Clancy killing her three kids and crying postpartum psychosis isn’t.
They say we don't teach about socialism in schools. Yes we do: group projects. Where you do ALL the work because your 3 lazy teammates do nothing, but you have integrity and don't wanna fail, but they end up getting the same grade as you for nothing. That's socialism. It sucks.
Amid all the analysis of what a mistrial will mean in the Clancy trial, it’s worth stopping for a moment.
Callan was eight months old. Dawson was three. Cora was five. Callan lived four more days on life support before he died.
Testimony says each child took up to two minutes to strangle. Time two minutes right now. Now imagine doing that three times, to your own children, without stopping.
Don’t lose the victims in all the legal procedures.
A news reporter asked Michael Jordan if he thought the ’90s Bulls could beat LeBron’s Lakers.
MJ: Yes.
Reporter: By how much?
MJ: Two or three points.
Reporter: Why so close?
MJ: Most of us are almost 60 now.
🚨 WOW! John Fetterman just CALLED OUT hypocritical Democrats complaining he shook Trump's hand: "If they're angry that I shook the president's hand as he walked in, THAT'S ON THEM!"
"Those angry that I did that didn't really have a problem when Mamdani visited the White House!"
"I do think we have to find a way if we can be in the same room. We CAN disagree on things. You don't have to sign off on everything. You don't have to agree with everything. And now, if I hear something that I agree with or I like that, hey, I'm going to stand up and clap for those things."
"If we refuse to talk to the other side, that's the only one that really loses. That's America."
Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have no business serving in Congress—and last night proved why once again.
During the #SOTU2026, they turned the address into their own spectacle: screaming “You have killed Americans!” and “Lies!” at the president, refusing to stand for ovations, and then storming out like spoiled brats.
That’s not legitimate protest; it’s disrespectful, un-American behavior with zero regard for the office of the presidency or the dignity of the country. People who show such contempt for America shouldn’t be representing us in Congress.
Why aren’t these interlopers ever held accountable for their repeated outbursts and disruptions?

Regardless of who sits in the Oval Office, I’ll stand with the parents of a murdered child.
I’ll stand on the idea that protecting American citizens comes first.
I’ll stand for our athletes who wore our flag and brought home gold.
I’ll stand against medicalizing kids without parental consent.
These aren’t “policy positions.”
They’re baseline human values.
If your entire political identity is just resist at all costs, even when what you’re resisting is the lowest-hanging fruit for common ground - it betrays your true incentives: power over people. The American people deserve better.
Empty seats send a message… But not always the one you intend.
When Democrats boycott the #SOTU, they're not protesting Trump. They're telling millions of Americans at home that they'd rather make a point than do their job.
Europeans (and eventually Americans) explored the entire world, mapped and charted every ocean and populated landmass, and then when they got bored in the 19th and 20th centuries decided they might as well go up to the North Pole and down to Antarctica and then up to the highest peak on Earth and down to the deepest depths of the ocean, and when all of that was done they went to space. The greatest indictment of our education system is that most kids will graduate grade school and then college without even the slightest appreciation of this absolutely remarkable story. A story totally unique to western civilization. No other people have ever been as hungry to know and understand the world, and as willing to give up everything, including their lives, in the pursuit.
