One of my favorite art projects! Just a reminder of what is in and out of our control. I need this reminder myself. Sometimes we worry about things we canโt control. โค๏ธ @gakroenke

A big problem / teacher shortages is that we have larger class sizes. Which places a larger burden on teachers who are there. It would be like a Dr who sees 20 patients a day, now serving 40 or 60 and for the price of 20. It greatly reduces time and attention each one gets too
If school districts would take time to ask teachers, if you were to think about leaving, what would it take for you to stay. They would quickly find what they need to focus on to improve teachers working conditions.
We spend over $8 Billion dollars a year on teacher attrition (turnover) and probably more this year. Imagine if we spent the money on actually trying to retain teachers instead.
