Capitalism really convinced people that working yourself into burnout, missing your kids grow up, and never taking a vacation is somehow more honorable than wanting to actually enjoy the one life you get.
Forgive me for this post. I am not conspiratorial, nor do I ever want to stare down that rabbit hole, let alone go into it. BUT - if a guy with massive power becomes so disordered and panicked that he can't emotionally endure ANY public perception of ANY fallibility on something as trivial as a refurbished reflecting pool, and would THEN go so far as to fabricate stories of vandalism, and THEN try to legitimize the fabrications themselves by harassing and detaining innocent citizens, wouldn't that same person be capable of fabricating the suicide of someone trapped in a prison cell who could implicate him in heinous crimes?
The White House looks like shit.. The East Wing has been bulldozed. The lawns looks like they were used for a Demolition Derby. The Kennedy Center is under a tarp. The Reflection Pond is disgusting and fenced off. Trump has turned the Capitol into a shithole.
Trump told Leslie Stahl something years ago that everyone should hear.
She asked Trump he kept calling the media fake news.
He said, I do it because I need to discredit you, so that when you say negative things about me, nobody believes you.
That is EXACTLY what he’s done.
The problem everyone has with him is that most of us grew up with values, ethics, and integrity.
That is not Donald Trump.
He figured out a long time ago that he can bully his way through any rule and if he keeps pushing harder and harder, people will relent.
For most of his life they did, but we must stand up against it.
I will never understand how so many of y'all were hoodwinked into believing the government should not use the money YOU PAY IN TAXES to create a social safety net that benefits YOU.
"The UFC event captures something about this moment in our history.
After all, it’s vulgar, it’s violent, it’s commercial, it’s grandiose, it’s tacky, and it dishonors a place once thought worthy of care and respect. In other words, it’s Donald Trump."

The hardest working person in the world likely lives in poverty. Hard work almost never translates to wealth. But exploitation of labor often does. The hard work myth needs to dıė
It's just so weırd how every single thing you're told happens under socialism is happening under capitalism. The bread lines, the unemployment, the authoritarianism.
When people call you a "snowflake" remember they are quoting Fight Club,a satire written by a gay man about how male fragility causes men to destroy themselves, resent society, become radicalized.....
