So long and thanks for all the fish.
I'm not saying Twitter is about to be demolished to make way for a hyperspace bypass, but I'm also not NOT saying that.
No more tweets, onto... skydives? what do they call them...
What if the Congress and Senate was run in seasons and sessions of paid peers, citizens that pass basic qualifications - like jury duty. Instead of electing officials, vote on the algorithms base logics and priorities that offer bills and choice for votes (can be done).

Nobody wants to be deceived, fed poor information. We could create methods to agree on objective truth; but you need enough people to want it before we could agree to build it. Also, people need tools to look for fallacies. Agree how to label first.

#OpenData Idea: Labels that score depth, quality, age and category of information on basic news. A glance lets you know basic values of its consumption.
Would you use it? Would you participate?

@rohlamba Important pullout:
"The high prices are sustained by collusive strategies with a finite phase of punishment
followed by a gradual return to cooperation. This finding is robust to asymmetries in cost
or demand, changes in the number of players, and various forms of uncertainty."
@rohlamba @NormaPadron__ 1) Wondering how scary this gets with more pricing tactics becoming realtime / global / connected.
Optimizations seems to have one result: monopolies are great! for them (not for people). Anti-trust laws cannot possibly respond with technical limitations on how they function.

Starting with the first problems, our long vision is to make a dent in the problems inherently created from the information age (one solution at a time: and accessible to the rest of us).
We need better format for how we get everything from #news, to #debates. If I wanted to listen to made up stories and arguments like 4-year-olds, I would volunteer to teach preschool.
Can we solve this? Please?

We need to resurface the values of Courage, Humanity and Empathy. All those values and competences lead us to rediscover the difference between ordered society and trust society. Some remarks by Marie-Laure Salles at @GenevaPeaceWeek Opening Ceremony 👏🏽 @mlevasalles #GPW20@IHEID

The debate will be hosted at my alma mater @cwru . Likely one of THE most important US presidential debates in a very long time. Can't be more proud of how they accepted it without hesitation and accepted the difficulty during #covid 👏👏
Hats off.

Tonight there will be a debate and everyone will see their own version of what is said.
Words are important. How we deliberately discern what has been said is critical.

Democracies cannot work without an informed public.
We need to stop trying to convince anyone of anything,
and start building tools that help people inform themselves in far, far better ways.

@PCod3r Like race bias or demographic bias in general. We see this in online shipping and digital adverts already.
Bias is a massive problem we haven't even begun to start putting guidelines on. The tech is moving faster than the understanding of the iterative and sneaky dangers.
Telling people "Good data, not more" is like trying to find a window in the desert.
You need the right sand, in the right process to make something useful.
It all matters.
