Coeliac on hard mode. Does PR. Connoisseur of cheesy movie sequels.
(My profile is still here, but I'm not. Keeping it live for research purposes only π)
@amandahydeuk@The_Lowry's summer takeover of Julia Donaldson stories. Loads of free family-friendly activities based on books including The Gruffalo, Zog, & Room on the Broom. (I don't work with the Lowry, it's just great)
@Jaymi_McCann For little ones - @The_Lowry's summer takeover of Julia Donaldson stories. Loads of free family-friendly activities based on books including The Gruffalo, Zog, & Room on the Broom. (Not a client - I'm just a fan!)

@AliWalshGF I hope she's ok Ali. I have this fear about my 1 year old - partly wishing I could just test him now, but also worried what the result might be! Fingers crossed for you.
Totally agree. The industry is constantly hand-wringing over how PR is perceived and how to legitimize the profession, but somehow always manages to throw itself under the bus.
I think it's at least partly because PRs are desperate to distance themselves from the bad rep
Today feels like a good day to share this.
Most PR's I know are awesome at their jobs. Sharing neggy emails from journos is often done for lolz or by those looking for assurance that they're not alone. You're not.
But it's time we stood up for ourselves https://t.co/wIUpYkbusI
I know I've only been a mum for 9 months now, but I really hate those threads that are parents sniggering at pregnant people with plans and hopes for when baby's here. Yes it's hard and plans may have to change, but the "haha you just WAIT, it's DREADFUL" comments feel nasty.
The baby is eight months old and @SamWPsychology is still sending me passive aggressive pregnancy announcement TikToks because she's still not over the way I told her I was expecting - will I ever be forgiven?!
Celebrating Taylor Swift's birthday by watching the video of me in labour watching Rep tour and explaining the red scarf drama to the midwives and refusing to stop talking whilst having a contraction because I was too involved in the discussion
@rhiannonlucyc I started watching CTM for the first time this year after my son was born and I've been fine so far - I have cried at it a few times (happy and sad tears!), but haven't found it traumatizing. Haven't started TIGTH because my mum says I can't yet and I trust her judgement!
@thelittlebark See this is my thought too, but every baby class I've been to has done "itsy bitsy" and it had me feel like I was going mad. Don't get me started on the variations of wheels on the bus
