@erfmufn 👏👏That must be a huge relief for you and your family. Now, back to work - those astrophotos won't take themselves. Well, they sort of do, but you get my drift.
@JohnJHarwood Nobody witnessed any of the crimes by Nixon and his stooges. But the whole world watched Republicans break into the Capital, assault law enforcement, steal property, and deface the offices. So in fact it was Trump's Jan.6 insurrection that makes Watergate look like a picnic.
@JohnJHarwood Twenty-five years ago every news agency rightfully mocked Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf for his obtuse comments, and nicknamed him Baghdad Bob and Comical Ali. Why Bessent, or any of Trump's minions, are taken seriously instead of mocked by any reporter is scandalous.
@samstein Back in the '90s the press & Rs hounded Clinton for his 'exit strategy' every time he dispatched the US military. Weird how they give Trump a pass. I'm beginning to think Republicans are graded differently to Dems.

Plus he's a 34 time felon, a multiply bankrupt businessman, a serial adulterer, and multiply divorcé. None of these are consistent with Christian behaviour yet born-againers flock to him anyway.
@DonSurber2 You understand how voting works, right? Trump won 2024 with ~2% more votes than Harris, and 2016 with ~2% LESS votes than Clinton. His voters saw what he was, saw what he did and voted for him anyway. Anyone who didn't voting for Harris should rot in hell.
@EmiliaOnPoint@samstein Ah, but it is up to everyday citizens to fight the power in any way they can. Voting for the Democrats is the least that people can do. Trump won '24 because in a small number of voters didn't vote for Harris because she wasn't perfect. Don't be like them.
