NOW: 100 days into Trump’s MAGA regime and the priorities couldn’t be clearer: bombs for Israel, cuts for our communities. While Congress walks into a weapons expo to shake hands with war profiteers, we’re outside demanding an end to genocide funding and a future rooted in care. If they want “government efficiency,” start with the bloated Pentagon budget, not healthcare, housing, or the planet.
@johnrich Thanks for posting and it's of course tremendous that Feds attempt a search and rescue. While the pipeline of child trafficking has in the last Admin involved the HHS, the trafficking cartels are adapting to and circumventing this Admin's tightened policies
This is moralistic garbage, which is unfortunately the rhetorical currency of the globalists because they have nothing else to say.
For three years, President Trump and I have made two simple arguments: first, the war wouldn't have started if President Trump was in office; second, that neither Europe, nor the Biden administration, nor the Ukrainians had any pathway to victory. This was true three years ago, it was true two years ago, it was true last year, and it is true today.
And for three years, the concerns of people who were obviously right were ignored. What is Niall's actual plan for Ukraine? Another aid package? Is he aware of the reality on the ground, of the numerical advantage of the Russians, of the depleted stock of the Europeans or their even more depleted industrial base?
Instead, he quotes from a book about George HW Bush from a different historical period and a different conflict. That's another currency of these people: reliance on irrelevant history.
President Trump is dealing with reality, which means dealing with facts. And here are some facts:
Number one, while our Western European allies' security has benefitted greatly from the generosity of the United States, they pursue domestic policies (on migration and censorship) that offend the sensibilities of most Americans and defense policies that assume continued over-reliance.
Number two, Russians have a massive numerical advantage in manpower and weapons in Ukraine, and that advantage will persist regardless of further Western aid packages. Again, the aid is *currently* flowing.
Number three, the United States retains substantial leverage over both parties to the conflict.
Number four, ending the conflict requires talking to the people involved in starting it and maintaining it.
Number five, the conflict has placed--and continues to place--stress on tools of American statecraft, from military stockpiles to sanctions (and so much else). We believe the continued conflict is bad for Russia, bad for Ukraine, and bad for Europe. But most importantly, it is bad for the United States.
Given the above facts, we must pursue peace, and we must pursue it now. President Trump ran on this, he won on this, and he is right about this. It is lazy, ahistorical nonsense to attack as "appeasement" every acknowledgment that America's interest must account for the realities of the conflict.
That interest--not moralisms or historical illiteracy--will guide President Trump's policy in the weeks to come.
And thank God for that.
@RoKhanna Americans do get fired regularly, the ratio has a point. While you as an elected official presumably would be able to make inroads into restoring hard workers into positions actually critical to bureaucratic function 💪💪
@RepRoKhanna There does need to be overhauls and reforms though! As a Bay Area resident, I'm not that sure that redirecting the funds to state govts is going to help the kids of my local schools either, as this state's education bureaucracy has had a mixed record
@ColeToon Not going to impact you personally if you're not on the same page as others who value RFK Jr

MAHA is personal for me.
I’ve lived with a chronic autoimmune disorder since I was 2.
I spent years of my early childhood in and out of emergency rooms.
There were sports I wanted to play, but couldn’t. Summer activities I wanted to enjoy, but couldn’t. School trips I wanted to be a part of, but couldn’t. Risks I wanted to take, but was told I couldn’t.
It destroyed my self-confidence throughout my childhood. I felt like I was an observer, not a participant, in the joie de vivre that others felt.
And there are millions of young Americans who have it much, much worse than I ever did. MAHA is deeply personal for each of them, too.
I was still able to do plenty of things that millions of other kids dreamed of doing while lying in a hospital beds.
It always seemed strange to me that nearly every peer growing up had some allergy, some chronic condition, and a list of Pharmaceuticals they “needed” to live a “normal” life.
In high school, I easily could have been put on Adderall or Ritalin or some SSRI. The only reason I wasn’t was because my own instincts screamed at me: don’t.
It wasn’t until RFK Jr.’s campaign began in 2023 that I began to grasp the extent of the chronic disease crisis.
I latched onto his campaign like I’d found an oasis in the Sahara Desert.
Now, I’m on a mission to eliminate my chronic disease with real food and connection to nature. (If any doctors can offer advice, please reach out!)
I can say with 100% confidence that I feel better today—physically and mentally—than I ever have in my 23 years on Earth.
RFK may or may not be correct about the details of this crisis, but he is the first person I heard who was honest about the enormity of the damage this crisis has caused.
Since 2023, I’ve met so many brave Americans who’ve been down a similar path. Many of them had much, much more difficult experiences than I did.
To all the MAHA moms, doctors, athletes and young Zoomers who accepted the label of kooks and conspiracy theorists to step out and share your stories: thank you.
I salute you. I may not be speaking up now if you all hadn’t stepped up before me.
And I cannot thank President Trump enough for upholding his promise to me and to RFK’s millions of supporters to put Bobby in the position to end this crisis.
This is a warning to Senators who are considering voting against RFK Jr. as Trump’s HHS Secretary:
You will lose your seats, and We The People will cheer as you leave Washington.
Centralized medicine has destroyed countless lives and threatens to destroy countless more if We The People don’t intervene.
FAFO.
MAHA-MAGA. 🇺🇸
BREAKING:
‘I know exactly why Trump left the WHO... the dark heart of the organization should worry every American
Speaking on https://t.co/JtTxISaGUO's podcast Welcome to MAGAland this week, Dr Aseem Malhotra said there were also concerns among those in the incoming administration about the agency's ties to commercial industry.
He highlighted how more than 80 percent of WHO's funding relies on 'voluntary contributions,' meaning any amount of money given freely by donors, whether member states, NGOs, philanthropic organizations or other private entities.
This funding model contrasts to when the WHO first launched in 1948 and its budget was set by countries' annual membership fees. Dr Malhotra said there were increasing concerns about influence and conflicts of interest.
Dr Malhotra, who is close friends with RFK Jr, Trump's pick for secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, used the fact Bill Gates is one of the WHO's largest donors as an example.
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation donated $689 million to the United Nations agency in 2024, making the Gates' the largest contributor after the US, which paid $958 million.
But Dr Malhotra highlights the billionaire is 'heavily invested in ultra-processed foods' which are fueling the global crisis of chronic diseases.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation's Q1 2024 filing shows holdings of $604 million in Coca-Cola shares and nearly $97 million in Kraft Heinz, the maker of Kraft mac and cheese, an array of processed meats like Oscar Mayer, and Jell-O.
Gates has also championed synthetic meat, investing in companies such as Beyond Meat, Hampton Creek Foods and Nature's Fynd, despite growing concerns about the health effects of these ultraprocessed alternatives
Dr Malhotra says Gates' backing of ultra-processed junk foods presents a problem, as 'these are the people that are really directing the policy of the WHO'.
The WHO's former director general Dr Margaret Chan previously hinted that the agency's funding comes with strings attached.
In a conference in 2015, she explained: 'As an organization, only 30 percent of my budget is predictable funds.
'[The] other 70 percent I have to take a hat and go around the world to beg for money.
Dr Malhotra says Trump's government 'wants the WHO to exist and have a role, but until it becomes independent, I believe that, making a statement by withdrawing funding from the WHO from all these countries is the right move for sure. 100 percent

@KimIversenShow For good measure I then like to remove from heat and let eggs sit in cool water. I def don't skip the cool water immersion whenever hard boiling, to prevent the yolk from getting all grey/sulfuric
@KimIversenShow Personally my med boiled eggs are a sticky shelled mess if I leave too much wiggle room w timing. I must place eggs in room temp water, after it comes to high boil cook at that setting for a min, then reduce to medium for like 3 mins more. Next, shut off heat for another 11 min
@TheChiefNerd@esaagar nice response. I hope that if RFK Jr isn't confirmed, Krystal would finally start to notice the allopathic medicine in this country is broken and that we can get some results with an open HHS unsaddled by planted hires from pharma and ag
@MarioNawfal May justice prevail in the wake of another whistleblower's life being claimed
Curious how closely the mayor of SF will pay attention to this
