Hello #MedTwitter ! My name is Lorreen and I’m a OMS II at TouroCOM Harlem. I’m interested in Gen Surgery & Plastic Surgery. I’m excited to stay connected and learn more about the field of surgery! #generalsurgery#plasticsurgery
A little med school update: in February I had the opportunity to travel to Durban, South Africa with Children Family Health International for a surgery rotation. I spent 3 weeks there and had such an amazing time. I got to learn soo much about how surgeons perform in LIC.

I have a really GREAT headshot photo but I’m not wearing a blazer. Could I still submit it for ERAS or should I take a new one with a blazer on? #MedTwitter#eras2026
I am so excited to have matched into Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery @Jefferson_OTO ✨
I’m overcome with gratitude - thank you to my village of mentors, friends, and incredible family who believed in me every step of the way.

i love reading all these "i matched" posts but ESPECIALLY from the girlies who matched into competitive and/or surgical specialties like YESSSSSS GIRLBOSS PERIODTTT
I really hate that your parents can only participate in your hooding ceremony if they’re a doctor. I knew it before they sent the email but something about reading it just hurt a little bit lol. I’d like to share a special moment with the people who helped me to get here too.
