It doesn’t really matter what they’re saying about us. In the end, the only thing we can control... is what we’re saying about them.
And what we’re saying about them... should always be constructive. A legacy of building up, always trumps a legacy of tearing down.
I think great administrators try to view things through the eyes of teachers… and I think great teachers, try to view things through the eyes of students.
Healthy teacher habits during the school year...
1) Get enough sleep, 7-8 hrs
2) Exercise, move around during the work day as well
3) Drink lots of water (near the end of your work day 😏)
4) Prep your own lunch
5) Meditate
6) Make time for yourself

This is why adults in schools need to be open talking about mental health all the time, not just during campaigns. Model the conversation to make students comfortable asking for help! #peelfam
This is a number we can’t ignore. Families can wait up to 18 months for a child to receive mental health treatment in ON. That’s not right. We need an immediate investment in mental health to help ON families when & where they need it. #kidscantwait#BellLetsTalk#onpoli
January 31st...The school is open with a reminder to our students walking, that temperatures are again extremely cold. Please enter the school when you arrive and we will be staying in for recess. Friday, February 1 is PD day. Stay warm and safe JrViking families!

I always appreciate an administrator who knows that teachers are professionals who need to be empowered and supported, instead of directed and blamed. #FixingEducation
