@_Fibster_ EC comics are soo underrated, people often speak of them as just "good for their time" but imho they still have some of the best stories that comics have to offer even 70 years later
@DeadFeature@spacerunaway_ ehhh, Kirby's Adventure isn't even the best NES platformer imho. It looks beautiful, sure, but there are plenty of great looking NES games with much richer/engaging gameplay, like Gimmick!, Summer Carnival Recca, Castlevania 3, the Mega Man games, Zelda 2, Faxanadu, etc etc
Going out for the night, and Rod Serling narration from the heavens started introducing me as "a vile man, one that holds no principles" who will "soon learn the most important lesson of all". Troubling.
@marcievania my hope is that the kids don't get attached to old game hardware like I did and spend hundreds of dollars on consoles and crts to play games that a rational person would just emulate๐ญ
@YungTacoTuesday@grievous129 Does the story presentation ever evolve beyond "go talk to this NPC, go run for 15 minutes to talk to another NPC, run back"? I bounced off the game after 20 hours because it felt like all the game offered was this loop and the most bland combat ever lol
@imdrippingink@PacApproved@Xingu1arity_ It is emulated, though the emulator iirc isn't good at playing much other than OoT. Here's the decompiled code for it if you're interested: https://t.co/QwUw5QWPBk
