Proudly representing Northeast Ohio's 43rd District.
Standing up for a strong America through expanding trade, strengthening alliances & driving innovation.
Another excellent meeting with the esteemed George Soros during the Geneva Policy & Leadership Retreat. A constructive exchange on global economic trends, democratic institutions, and long-term risk.
@Q_Review Seriously, for a movement that has been collectively hating on septum piercings for a decade, I don't get their weird, rapey obsession with her.
@Snap_Mimic@ediblplaydough Doesn't hit the same way. Shit from a butt works because of the contrast between the vulgar shit and the decidedly not-vulgar butt.
@marcvelitrae@RichardHanania It's not a stretch by any means. Russia suffered 7 times as many casualties in Afghanistan as we did in half the time. They are organizationally incompetent.
@TheStalwart@jmhorp The United States itself has a fascinating monetary history. For the better part of the 1800s, the currency was based on gold AND silver simultaneously, which obviously makes no sense, since the ratio between the two varies.
@TheStalwart@jmhorp It was both. The coin had a face value based on its metal content, but some rulers would debase their currencies with cheaper metal (and not disclose that fact) to make it stretch further.
Historically, people would pick up the difference and "bad money drives out good".
@GfloDough@damintoell Drinking beer isn't a crime. This is about the sentiment that if you break a thing down into its broadest possible components, it loses its meaning.
Kash Patel having a beer is not a problem. The Director of the FBI looking like a frat bro at the Olympics is a problem.
@PullNews@BenjiBacker Right, clearly it wasn't all the emissions regulations. No, it was that people just decided to stop their cars from polluting.
Heartwarming.
