Monthly listening, December 2023: Cocteau Twins
With the monthly listening project, usually I try to discover a new artist or catch up with familiar ones. Lately I'm in the mood for Cocteau Twins so I'll try something different this month and play all their LPs and EPs in order.
Monthly listening, November 2023: John Tejada
I've listened to a few of Tejada's albums, and his 2001 mix Backstock is one I find perfect for a certain mood. His latest, Resound, is out today. https://t.co/ptpbWYSO1F
Lovely trailer for Past Lives. Maybe the Brattle Theatre can do a double-feature series of enjoyable debut films, one by the parent and one by the child. https://t.co/Yjw9GWRCbp
And Eubank wins the fight / And did you see the KLF last night
Saint Etienne's So Tough turns 30 today. I think I picked up my CD at those late-Monday-night early releases at Newbury Comics in Harvard Sq. Box set coming soon. 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂

Enjoying the energetic layers of the poster for the 2023 graduation exhibition at Kyoto Seika University, known for their manga artist training. Last year's poster was relatively more prosaic.
if this looks like your thing (you already know who you are) then play my FREE game🌸DEAD PETALS!🌸Windows, Mac, Linux and browser. RTs super duper appreciated #shmup#STG同好会 https://t.co/xfwtvK4bQS
I appreciate this kind of deep dives into where a genre is right now. I never listened to much trance other than the odd remix that hit the spot like this endless-summer track from J-pop hitmakers Every Little Thing. https://t.co/W4GDxNZUXl https://t.co/RlbxNl4Nfl
Good company in this @googledevs video that includes a ML/AR sketch I made with PoseNet and p5.xr, and features many other, much cooler projects. Thanks to @jason_mayes. https://t.co/UEC7xtGq62
