@Isuckatpicking If Bernie says 5% extra on that years income maybe that works once but it’s not the amount he is talking about. Then you would have to trust that “any” government would do the right thing with that money.
@Calibism1234@RiseOfAlberta Our oil already goes to you, we could cut out red tape and taxes to make it more profitable for Albertans. Just eliminating transfer payments alone would increase our healthcare spending.
@WallStreetApes Pro tip to anyone wanting to get ahead. Never do a 30y or 25y mortgage. I max out at 15y. Slightly higher payments save you a mind boggling amount of interest. I repeat, if you do a 30y mortgage, you cannot afford that home.
@djmckinnon80 If they changed your shift on short notice there is a certain amount of OT they have to pay you. I work a 7-7 and I could never work a 5-2 again. It is more money and more time off.
@djmckinnon80 They didn’t change the rules during your shift did they? There is a whole different set of rules for short changes and shift modifications.
@djmckinnon80 I don’t understand, you agreed to work a compressed work week, right. Two weeks on and in exchange you get two weeks off. Plus you get dayshift and nightshift premiums? This is a better deal than working 40 hours a week 5 days a week plus you agreed to work it.
