@yachtwish I completely agree with the findings. I am a visual person, I tend to understand this a lot better by looking than listening, or with pictures than just words.

@megnhighered This is really interesting because tenure allows professors to express their opinion about many subject matters without having to watch their back...I think in this case she was acting as a private citizen since she was on leave, however, I do believe this falls in the gray area.

@megangsm It is very sad that only 2% of foster care kids get to attend college. Aged out foster care kids not only lose their benefits through the dept. of social services but they are unable to attend college as they have nobody to help them with the ins and outs of the college process

@surfacefa1292 This is so interesting, went I study abroad I did not use any electronics during my stay, it actually helped me to interact with my host family and immerse myself in the culture. I can see how social media could have prevented me from fully interacting with the locals.

@WSAULLE2018 As a business major, I took 15 credits every semester. Since I had two emphasis and one minor, my last semester I had to overload. I think that students that take less than 15 credits a semester, end up extending their degree completion by at least one semester.

@yachtwish I guess everybody learns differently and it's up to the student to be responsible for their own learning experience. However, I think many students are still trying to figure how to balance their school life with their personal life, which makes learning challenging.

@megangsm I think certain positions such as admissions have a bigger burden to keep a certain image as they are the face of the college. Admissions counselors are going around the country recruiting students for the institution they work so I agree they are the institution.

@WSAULLE2018 So this is really interesting. I just finished my thesis and part of my recommendation for the admissions team at MBU is to dropped the requirements for the math and verbal SAT scores and required the writing portion.

@megangsm I think that communication through social media allows for individuals to stay connected. However, it all depends on how those individuals utilized social media platforms, as it could be used negatively and/or positively.
