Seeing this news genuinely sucks.

Regardless of how you felt about the game, one of the biggest companies in gaming investing heavily into a fighting game was a win for all of us.

Players built careers around it, dedicated to competing, creating content, and building a community around the game.

To see it end this quickly is a painful reminder of the fragility of esports and the FGC.

I never want to celebrate seeing another fighting game fail. We need more games, more investment, more opportunities and more people believing in this genre.
