If you’re losing this year no matter what, what difference does it make if you lose 85 games and don’t make the playoffs of if you lose 105 games and don’t make the playoffs?

They can land multiple top 100 prospects in trades to go along with the growing number of great young players in their minors

If they don’t take every opportunity to trade for good young players right now they’re saying they’re not serious about the future

A bad team doesn’t need good players to be bad.

A good team needs lots of good players to be good.

So stop punishing your future self by holding on to good players on your losing team now.

@NikoPortante @Jared_Tims In order to win you need a lot of good players on your team at the same time. It doesn’t matter if your last draft was good, they won’t start contributing to your team until guys like Soriano and Detmers are gone vis free agency or have stopped being good.
