Larson 2024 having 1700 laps led is so insane to me, I still think that’s the best one. just because in the gen7 era you rarely see drivers show that type of speed and dominance
both him and bell just got bit by the goofy playoff stuff that year otherwise either one would’ve been deserving champions
@cochiseenjoyer@Alyx2448 they’re not and I personally don’t like the chase format, but these crazy Stewart 2011 type run should still be praised imo just because of the pressure they’re under
@cochiseenjoyer@Alyx2448 True, but he stopped doing it in the chase so i think it’s a switch or something he can just turn off, his average finish is mid but it’s still 7th best in the field so I don’t think it’s as bad as it looks Hamlin just had no errors all year
@cochiseenjoyer@sharkfailure@Alyx2448 I meant more about the general stat not being representative of who had the end all be all best season, it’s not a meaningless stat but some people take it as gospel like it’s the only thing that matters
Overall a pretty good episode while I drink some iced coffee @jeff_gluck . I agreed with Jeff more on it not being totally over. However I feel every episode ignores the Truck series and O’Reilly championship battles too much. There’s a very interesting dynamic among those both.
@b1gnate_11 This is biblical levels of greed. They have an oil tycoon, a hearing aid billionaire, and now a fast food billionaire.
He’ll definitely end up back in an O’Reilly car at Gibbs once he’s 18
