MTN Is just unbelievable. So cos they are doing their 25yrs anniversary in Nigeria, they are dashing Nigerians 25GB of data to use for today only but they made sure that their network is so crappy that you can’t even access that data or use it if at all you got it. Crooks !
🚨 Xabi Alonso says the idea on the pitch is to make it become like a ‘movie’ :
“The principles are the same but the movements can change, we need to be unpredictable, we want to be flexible and have a threat. The system is just a picture, you need to move, rotate and create dynamics, that’s when the picture becomes a movie” 🎥 (@ChelseaFC)

They will say I like the back 3 a lot and pushing an agenda, but it's not about that.
Look at it this way. It suits Palmer and Rogers to play as half-space number 10s. Chavarría and Palestra will cover width all day long. Lacroix plays better as a CCB. James as a hybrid RB/RCB is perfect.
Can you say it doesn't suit their profiles better? A 4-2-3-1 hybrid can turn into that, but it means that Palestra will start as a RW. However, I think the point of adding Chavarría and Palestra is to have players who will help switch formations seamlessly. It's possible we'll continue with a hybrid 4-2-3-1 that we've seen in pre-season so far. The fear people had with Alonso as Chelsea manager was that we didn't have players with WB characteristics. Now, we do.
It will be very interesting to see what Alonso does with Chavarría and Palestra in the starting XI. For them to play as the attack-minded FBs they are in a 4-2-3-1, we need three defensive-minded midfielders, just like Klopp did with Henderson, Keita and Fabinho at Liverpool, to cover Trent and Robertson when they attacked.
Alonso still has hidden cards. Next few weeks will be interesting, tactically.
