can I just say that Pan’s vulnerability in here hurts so much. She conveyed that relief, quiet longing, and that tenderness of someone who thought, just for a moment, that they were finally okay.

You can see Pan allowing herself to hope again or let her guard down. That Pheem finally let her back in because she thought they made up.

It is soul-crushing that Pan started believing in a little bit of happiness, only for it to be ripped away from her all over again.
