Yesterday I listened to Lisa Wolff give deeply moving evidence about her daughter, Abbigail Smith, at the Lampard Inquiry.

Hearing how Abbigail’s autism was repeatedly dismissed, how Lisa’s concerns were not believed, and how a young woman was moved from unit to unit before losing her life is heartbreaking. No family should have to fight so hard to be heard, and no one should be left feeling that their loved one was “lost to the system”.

My heart goes out to Lisa and everyone who loved Abbigail. It took great courage to share such painful evidence, and I hope those listening truly heard what was being said.

Every family deserves answers. Every patient deserves to be listened to, understood and treated with dignity. The Inquiry must uncover not only what went wrong, but why it happened and how lasting change will be achieved so that other families do not have to endure the same devastation.

Thinking of Lisa and Abbigail today. ❤️

Two weeks from today, Cody Harper will be standing in court facing a prison sentence.

From the footage, he was clearly attacked by three men before striking out at a police officer while seemingly disorientated.

Meanwhile, where are the three alleged attackers? Have they been identified, arrested or charged?

If not, the only person currently facing prison is the man who appears to have been attacked.

Our justice system is an absolute mess.

Why has it taken them so long to do this?
Due to ongoing and relentless scrutiny by victims and the public who have finally had enough.
@NHSEngland inability to act and hold gross failures, misconduct and negligence to account over DECADES has created the shambles we now have.

Accountability TOP DOWN.

This man is a monster. The news story reads like a horror show.
I don’t care about him I care about Kimberley’s destroyed family, friends acquaintances and everyone else who knew and loved her……..what this animal and animals like him don’t realise is taking a life so despicably and in such despicable circumstances means the ripple effect of pain spreads so wide.
I’ve called it the ‘butterfly effect’ before as with my loss and losing my lovely daughter.

Drop this man in the middle of the Atlantic and let him try swimming home. It maybe just about similar to the level of pain he’s inflicted.

I plead to god, if there is one, these crimes must end in our country. I fear they won’t because of the lack of a deterrent.

After my tragedy I never wanted another father, another mother, another brother, another family….to go through the pain we are still going through.

What must I do to stop this pain for others……

For me, the right outcome is simple.

Drop all charges against Cody Harper and issue him a full public apology.

I don't want to see the female police officer sacked or imprisoned. Retraining and a formal warning would be a fair response.

The real injustice is that the wrong person was arrested while the alleged attackers walked away.

The whole incident was a farce from start to finish. Justice should correct mistakes, not double down on them.
