I don't really get on X that much nowadays, but when I do, it tickles me to see people complain about viewbotting who are doing it themselves or that someone is doing it constantly to them. So many people I see on a site from between 60-150 viewers that have 1-3 chatters.

You know what would fix the whole viewbotting issue? Removing the metric altogether. Instead of showcasing the number of "viewers," let ACTIVE CHATTERS be the main metric that is featured. This would allow people with active communities to be shown more.

@KingDeadLuck 100% especially those known for being huge for discoerability and being around for awhile. People tend to put down roots and it's hard to have viewers move from point a to point b when they already love and enjoy the place they discovered the creator.

Been finding myself gravitate more and more to YouTube and Twitch. I see some outlandish numbers on other platforms, you go into their chat and its crickets. But i have homies on Twitch/YT who have a fraction of those numbers and the chat is popping.

Definitely have found the hard way that the creator space can be one of the fakest around. However, I have found some amazing people I call friends through the smoke and bullshit.

I think the weirdest thing about live streaming is you can go from thinking your friends with someone to them deleting and leaving everything to do with you out of nowhere!

@KingDeadLuck They honestly are and I've had good success on Tiktok. I also find it a little funny that creators will hop platforms but never give the ones with huge discoverability a chance.

@AprilSamuraii Im telling you, becoming more and more of a creator has really opened my eyes to how a lot of people try to fake it in the industry. Sure, the view count shows 150, but the chatters show 3.

Definitely love surrounding myself with authentic and real people.
