I think there is an important discussion to be had on whether we should be charging the people of Saskatchewan to park at hospitals at all, but today we’ve revealed new research indicating the profits made off these fees are going directly to American companies.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority uses Atlanta-based ParkMobile at Regina’s General Hospital and the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, and Chicago-based ParkChirp at the Pasqua Hospital.

Donald Trump has threatened to destroy our economy and force us to become the 51st state. In response, the Sask. Party promised to cancel American contracts wherever possible, but so far have not confirmed eliminating a single one.

American companies should not profit every time someone checks into the
emergency room, gets cancer treatment, or visits a loved one at the hospital.

Scott Moe and the Sask. Party need to cancel these contracts with American firms, support our Keep Saskatchewan in Canada Act, and denounce separatists trying to tear our country apart.

These are beds being set up in an emergency room waiting area in Saskatoon this week.

Both the Royal University Hospital and St. Paul's were well over capacity.

Staff have described conditions in the ER as being closer to a "war room" than a hospital.

The Sask. Party gives themselves a pat on the back for their healthcare strategy when it's clearly been a failure on every front.

Saskatchewan, you deserve better than overrun emergency rooms, overworked and burnt out frontline staff, and long waits for desperately needed care.

The Saskatchewan NDP is focused on the future, your future, and ensuring that healthcare is there for you, when and where you need it.
