Being Jewish Doesn’t Count as Diversity?!?!?!
Jewish identity doesn’t "count" in corporate diversity frameworks. This dismissal is common and exposes a flaw in how diversity is generally approached. Despite Jews being a tiny minority with a unique history of persecution, mainstream DEI often disregards them, focusing narrowly on race and gender without recognizing antisemitism as part of the broader diversity struggle.
Historically, Jews have endured centuries of persecution—forced conversions, pogroms, expulsion, and, ultimately, the Holocaust—simply because of their identity. Today, antisemitic incidents are on the rise, but many people, including those in progressive circles, act as though these experiences don’t fit into the modern diversity narrative. There’s a perception, often rooted in stereotypes about Jewish success or “whiteness,” that Jews don’t face real discrimination. This narrative ignores both historical and present-day reality, effectively erasing Jewish identity from the diversity conversation.
At this point, Sam Seder is just a gross liar. Ana never said she wants to leave the left for money. When he’s pressed on it, he claims ignorance. Then why did you lie about it? We’ve lost subscribers and money because we acted out of principle. Something Sam wouldn’t understand.
Whenever Canadians complain about American politics, just remember they live in a country where the govt will help you kill yourself, just because you’re depressed. 🙃
Kamala campaign in a nutshell. She says she wants to go on Rogan. Joe who has said he never wants to have Trump on because he doesn't want to help agrees to have her on, but to be fair, decides to invite Trump as well. Kamala cancels, Trump agrees & gets a huge platform
Some people who engage in political commentary don’t really believe what they say. I would call these people grifters. But most people who use the term “grifter” use it to resolve cognitive dissonance, because they can’t fathom a world where people who disagree with them are not evil.
There's an interesting clip going around where Destiny does the "ackchyually" meme on my Trump tweet. Here are a few thoughts.
1) Destiny has massive TDS. It's strange he would respond to a tweet offering two reasons NOT to vote for Donald Trump with "you're wrong."
2) The disagreement is over whether my reasons for not voting for (or voting against) Trump are actually related to Jan 6th, something Destiny has concentrated on as the single best reason to vote against Trump. That's fine, but the J6 stuff is obviously unpersuasive to a giant portion of the electorate. If Destiny is truly terrified of a second Trump presidency, why make his arguments against Trump so narrowly focused?
3) Both of my claims would still be true in a world where Trump did not pressure Pence to throw the election back to the congress on January 6th. Let's take them one at a time.
Claim 1: "If Trump loses, even legitimately, he is going to claim the election was stolen and do his best to set fire to all our institutions."
Trump made the claim the 2020 election was stolen long before J6 ever happened. Trump still makes this claim today. Does Destiny really believe that in a world where J6 never happened, perhaps because there was no constitutional ambiguity to exploit, Trump would no longer be making claims of election rigging? If so, I encourage Destiny to say that.
Claim 2: "There is a good chance Trump will go after his political rivals with bogus lawfare. Yes, this has been done to Trump, and many will believe going after Democrats is justified retribution, but it’s not good for America. This is the kind of institutional decay we should vigorously avoid."
There have been many cases going after Trump, two of them involving J6: a federal case and the case in Georgia. I'm sure Destiny believes all of the cases against Trump are legitimate, and it's probably fair to conclude that Trump thinks all the cases are bogus. Does Destiny believe the classified documents case, the E. Jean Carroll assault/defamation cases, the New York civil fraud case, and the Stormy Daniels hush money case would all disappear if there was no J6? That's a pretty wild claim. Some of these cases predate J6, so those cases would obviously still be in play.
I would argue that even in a world where Trump was a "good boy" on J6, he would still be targeted with lawfare by Democrats, and seek retribution should he become president again. Many on the right have actually argued in favor of this, so I don't see how my claim is unfounded, or dependant on J6.

My dad was throwing away stacks of old newspapers from the 60s and 70s… I rescued some amazing ones.
Any suggestions on the best way to frame this to preserve/display it?
