@ESPNNBA Raptors in 6. Raps are way deeper and their bench would destroy LA. Kobe would be a beast, but those who really watched the 2019 Raps know what a defensive juggernaut they were.
@LocalzIT@BillSimmons@KendrickPerkins Knicks, Cavs, and probably Magic and Pistons. Everyone else is a coin flip. Raps are deeper than Heat, Bulls and the injured Bucks, Celtics and Pacers.
Raps won 30ish games with a shit ton of injuries and no Ingram. Add our new players to that? 5-6 is possible.
@Logan5market @mrsunshinebaby The ignorance in this thread is staggering. Unless I’m mistaken, they’re both cutting tax on the lowest bracket (the 15%). PP is cutting 2.25 and Carney 1. This is so misleading it’s ridiculous.
@RealDaveSwanson @seissechssix @ItsDeanBlundell@X This is a significant issue. And per the OSSTF arbitration agreement, it’s one that would not be addressed.
@RealDaveSwanson @seissechssix @ItsDeanBlundell@X You make some good points about the largesse. But you are only partially correct about class sizes and number of sections. They exceed up to a point (hard cap). It varies by grade in elementary or by department in HS.
@RealDaveSwanson @seissechssix @ItsDeanBlundell@X Scools have to schedule within the limitation set out by the ministry. The OP stated a kid needed to take Math in night school. If cap sizes were smaller and M of E allowed for more classes, there would be more Math classes. He wouldn’t. Need night school.
@RealDaveSwanson @seissechssix @ItsDeanBlundell@X To take the original post as an example, a school may run more sections of Math but the number of total classes is dictated by the formula so it would mean less sections of another subject (cancel electives, larger Geography class etc).
@RealDaveSwanson @seissechssix @ItsDeanBlundell@X This is precisely why most unions are not in favour of arbitration. Because that process will avoid addressing class sizes and other important issues.
@RealDaveSwanson @seissechssix @ItsDeanBlundell@X It is the province snd Education ministry who dictate funding formulas and class sizes. Minister of ED is tasked with this responsibility. Having 1 class of 36 vs 2 classes of 18 is entirely tied to the province.
