@barclaywrites but for other types of wrist/hand problems other kinds of compression garments would work better or differently

@barclaywrites IME the type u get should depend on what kind of pain it is - when I was being treated for De Quervain's Tenosynovitis a few years ago they suggested I use a kind of brace/compression garment that protected/stabilized my thumb (pic attached)
