@coaiecrete Look at a topographical map and you'll get your answers. The adversarial embassies are uphill to snoop on as many signals as they can. Same reason the Russian Mission Residency is in the Bronx
Damn. If you listen closely to what Pakistan’s military spokesman just said, he appears to have confirmed that a United Jihad Council meeting was held in Afghanistan on August 26th. That is the 5th anniversary of the Abbey Gate attack.
Think about that for a second. Senior operatives from multiple terrorist organizations, with Al-Qaeda at the helm, meeting in Afghanistan on the exact anniversary of the attack that killed 13 Americans.
Why is the U.S. government not striking these meetings? And before anyone thinks these meetings are only about Pakistan….they aren’t.
captive media moment where every major US news site is like "explosions heard" and every OSINT war dork is like "look at these 160th SOAR assets carrying out a raid near the Venezuelan presidential palace"
Regarding the exfiltration of María Corina Machado:
“Around the same time of their crossing, a pair of U.S. Navy F-18s flew into the Gulf of Venezuela and spent roughly 40 minutes flying in tight circles near the route that would lead from the coast to Curaçao, according to flight-tracking data. It was the closest incursion of U.S. aircraft into Venezuelan airspace since the U.S. military buildup began in September.” - WSJ

A @usairforce C-32B Gatekeeper secretly arrived in Ponce on October 30th.
The aircraft arrival in Ponce coincided with the MV Ocean Trader preparing for departure from port the following day (Oct. 31st).
While the India factor deserves some attention, it is not the entire story. The fact is that the Taliban and TTP are allies and have been allies since before 2021. The first thing the Taliban did following Kabul takeover was to release TTP leaders from Afghan jails. Some of us knew exactly what's going to happen, but at the time Pakistanis were fed fantasies by the previous Pakistani establishment. Pakistanis were told that Taliban will help Pakistan capture Kashmir from India and what not. I said from day one that won't happen. Now the fear is in reverse: Pakistan fears India and Taliban could conspire together to carry out a false flag in Kashmir and blame it on Pakistan - and actually try to establish it with video confessions of "captured" militants.
Anyway, a number of Pakistani analysts who have since changed their position, and are now very critical of the Taliban, their problem is that they still do not correctly understand what Pakistan is up against. And that's because they still do not ideologically understand the Taliban or similar Islamist groups. In fact, many of them are closeted Islamists themselves. They just don't know it or don't acknowledge it.
Understand this: Global Islamists will *always* side with Taliban over Pakistan. Be it your favorite Palestinians or pro-Hezbollah types. Because for Islamists, Pakistan is a corrupt nation state that is beholden to US, Chinese interests and isn't Islamic enough. This is why the TTP want to establish their Sharia in Pakistan, because they don't consider Pakistan Islamic enough, and it's also why an average Afghan Talib agrees with TTP.
Pakistan will never be able to beat Islamists at their own game unless Pakistan stops being a nation state and becomes some kind of a jihadist state. But that will never be allowed to happen to Pakistan because it has nukes. The US won't allow it, the Chinese won't allow it. And most importantly, the Pakistani military won't allow it.
So Pakistan's only option is to stop trying to beat the Islamists at their own game and reset the rules of the game itself. Introduce its own terms. And then enforce those terms.
Pakistani patriots will back Pakistan to the hilt on that. And it's ok if Pakistan gets ire from Islamists. Pakistan doesn't need them to achieve greatness; it only needs to keep them in check within its own borders.
Good luck, Pakistan!
If you are a civilian and you know there is a terrorist HQ in your neighborhood, it's best to either make them leave or leave yourself.
You, as a civilian, are responsible for your own and your family's safety.
Do NOT stop the airstrikes, Pakistan. Do not give in to all the sobbing. Civilian collateral damage is unavoidable in CT ops even for the best of armies. It is the unfortunate reality of CT ops. That does NOT mean that CT ops should stop. It only means that they need to be increased, because the sooner you defeat the terrorists, the better it is for civilians.
INCREASE THE AIRSTRIKES, PAKISTAN.
