My thought for today:
Why is Country Calendar, the most enduring and loved New Zealand programme on Television? It’s been a staple since I was a teen. Its audience is diverse and loyal. Some of us are from farming backgrounds but many are not.
IMHO, it is relentlessly positive. It tells stories of real people who have an idea, try something new, overcome adversity and are good people who care. Sometimes they fail, but they pick themselves up. That is what is needed - More stories of resilience, of making a difference, of doing good in the World. Less of doom and gloom. More of hope and happiness.

My 86 year old mother is still teaching. Her school holiday has been ruined as she has spent 5 days with no internet. Running out of data by being placed on hold each day, they loaded more data so she could continue being placed on hold. @onenzofficial REALLY?
