South Wales Police tried to bring in a blasphemy law by the back door, using the Government’s Islamophobia definition as cover.
The Home Office are now refusing to instruct all police forces NOT to use the definition to curb free speech.
This definition is dangerous. If nobody takes accountability for it, this will end badly.
Q on early release.. Following this ‘non answer’ I am now convinced that this @uklabour Govt.intend to include rapists in their ‘early release scheme’. This is a shocking decision affecting so many victims of the ‘rape gangs !!
Not true 👇Uniform is the number one way school leaders improve behaviour across schools.
This policy prevents schools from improving- disadvantaged kids suffer.
Bridget is hurting the kids she says she wants to help.🙄
The Labour Party were however happy to cause a by-election so that they can bring in a different person to be our PM - (apparently the 400 they already have aren’t good enough) was that not also a pathetic stunt? hypocrisy as always from this incompetent lot!
Says a minister in the Government that wanted to cancel local elections it was going to lose.
We will take no lectures on “our democracy” from Darren Jones.
We have developed a solution to close the legal loophole preventing child gang rapist Shabir Ahmed from being deported back to Pakistan
We will see if Andy Burnham is serious and accepts our amendment - or, better, passes it as emergency legislation

Under Labour: rent up £1,584. Energy up £294. Groceries up £166. Council tax up £229. Their jobs tax is draining £534 from every working household.
That’s the cost of Keir Starmer’s government.

🚨Jennifer Melle has been completely vindicated as the NMC has now dropped all charges against her.
This is the right outcome, but how did it get to this point?
Why did it take 18 months for the NMC to realise she did NOTHING wrong?
Why did the NHS pursue an ideologically motivated witch-hunt against a hardworking nurse?
How many other nurses will suffer a similar fate for stating biological reality?
Why did it take a cross-party group of MPs, led by Kemi and myself, to challenge the NHS and NMC to save Jennifer’s livelihood?
Will anyone be held accountable for their failure?
We will not stop fighting for them and the countless other nurses being hounded for defending their rights.
I asked the Home Office whether they would deport the ringleader of the Rochdale grooming gang.
I got the usual waffle about procedure - and no commitment.
Any law that says this man can walk our streets is wrong.
The Government can change the law. So why don’t they?
The Prime Minister pledged that he would use all the Government’s might to tackle the shadow fleet tankers passing through British territorial waters. Since then, just one has been seized, while nearly 200 shadow fleet tankers have passed through our waters without action being taken. Is the Government genuinely serious about stopping these tankers? And if it is, will it now revisit its interpretation of UNCLOS, which it repeatedly claims prevents action from being taken to board them?

The construction sector is collapsing.
Labour committed to 1.5 million homes. 300,000 a year. London alone needs 88,000. Last figures showed London started just 4,500.
Labour's jobs tax, red tape and regulation have caused this.
Young people cannot get on the housing ladder. Working people are priced out of the communities they grew up in.
The Conservatives will cut red tape, reduce employment taxes and scrap stamp duty. We will get Britain building again.
Shabir Ahmed should be on a plane, not in a bail hostel.
Labour needs to stop hand-wringing, back our amendments to close this legal loophole and use their powers to deport this monster immediately.
The Government is putting more illegal migrants into communities across the country.
Some of these sites will host illegal migrants until *2030*.
What does that tell us about their commitment to fixing this problem?
Social media sites should be faced with restrictions during elections in a similar way to broadcasters, Labour’s deputy leader said.
Lucy Powell, a close ally of Andy Burnham, the probable next prime minister, will seek to tighten the Representation of the People Bill to place legal duties on platforms such as X and Facebook during election periods ⤵️

Imagine trying to manage the country's economy while stuck on a delayed Avanti West Coast train with no Wi-Fi.
Andy Burnham forcing his Chancellor to split their week between London and Manchester is a recipe for chaos.
It is also a total distraction and window dressing. Moving offices around does not fix high taxes or improve public services. It is just a stunt to look busy.
Reshuffling desks across the country does not fix the economy.
Staying in the ECHR has made border control impossible for years.
Under Kemi Badenoch and myself as Shadow Home Secretary, the Conservatives are clear: we must leave the ECHR, dismantle the loopholes, and deport illegal immigrants immediately.
Past mistakes won't be repeated
