A lot of politicians would have you believe that handing over parts of the NHS to private providers is our only option
But…
* Only the NHS takes care of patients at A&E
* Only the NHS trains our doctors and nurses
* Only the NHS looks after all patients
This stupid, out-dated law will change eventually. The only question is how many people will be kept alive against their wishes, in pain and robbed of their dignity, before MPs see sense.

When I was a GP 10 years ago, these were the wait times for a medical specialty referral:
Urgent: 6 weeks
Routine: 3 months
The wait time now for the SAME specialty is:
Urgent: 18 MONTHS 🚩
Routine: 2 YEARS 🚩

The NHS now has fewer beds and scanners per person than almost all of its peers.
