I thought the theme of this year’s conference would be the 2024 election. We went into the year thinking “this is a no-brainer. We gotta get the presidential candidates to come talk about bitcoin”

Even most of the way through the conference, I was sure that would be the takeaway; “Bitcoin is on the ballot”.

But upon reflection, I’m realizing the message is much bigger than that:

An idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army. Bitcoin is such an idea, but what causes its time to come?

Answer: it’s the people. It’s the people who understand fundamentally that bitcoin is a good idea, and who choose to relentlessly pursue it to the end.

We’ve been dismissed, laughed at, and fought against. Our champions have been smeared, our companies have been attacked, and our beliefs have been challenged.

And yet here we stand on the precipice of Bitcoin becoming, not only embedded into the global financial system, but ingrained into the ideals of the democratic process and the foundations of national legitimacy.

Some would stand on the sidelines and yawn “this was inevitable”. But they don’t see the relentless passion, pursuit, and luck from the people who made this happen.

Bitcoin is a good idea, but it’s the people who breathe life into the idea. It’s the people who have made this time come.

Welcome to the age of Bitcoin. And cheers to the heroes who were crazy enough to believe in and to pursue a good idea. 🍻

Need help with a small podcast project

(and can pay)

My podcast backlog has overgrown. I recorded too many interviews and I've fallen behind on publishing.

This takes me about 1 hour per episode and I just don't have the time to get to it.

Here's what I need help with:

Inputs (what you'll be given) :
→ Fully Edited Audio/Video from an Interview
→ A fairly complete draft of the show notes

Outputs (what you'll do):
→ Come up with a good title
→ Make a basic YouTube Thumbnail
→ Fact-check the show notes draft
→ Write a short guest bio & teaser paragraph
→ Make chapters in InstantChapters and copy/paste them into YouTube
→ Make the basic episode Square Artwork
→ Upload all that same stuff from YouTube to Substack/RSS
→ Draft my Twitter/LinkedIn Post about the episode

I have great editors, I just usually handle these final steps and no longer have time for it.

I have a batch of 10 episodes that I need this work done for.

I have a backlog of 100+ approved examples that you can study to suss out my "style guide"

If this goes well, will become a regular thing (1-2x per week).
