@BreneBrown Immigrating to Canada to be with the love of my life, but leaving all my family behind in the UK. 23 years later, it’s still the best thing I did for myself (and the bravest), but gets more bittersweet as my parents age, my kids grow, and COVID has kept us even more apart.

@JanetCl15376682 @CBCNews I agree Janet. I’m also a duel citizen and haven’t seen my aging parents for 2 years. I received mixed vaccines and feel like I’ll have a long wait until I can go and see them. Very frustrating.
