– it is such a short story, but the yearning in it is so good. i love how dostoyevsky played with words to make it so vivid

– genuinely one of the most heartbreaking and relatable stories i have read. it hits so hard knowing how i tend to forget certain words/phrases in my own native language, but being able to remember it in english
