In the I can't control myself scene, Barth asked tanrak 'why can't you just let it happen' and Tanrak replied by saying 'let it go like that day'
All the passion and desire is still very much present like ep3, he knew that if he didn't create a distance then it will happen again.
Some people are forgetting that ep3 kiss happened the way it did not because they were trying to just create a spectacle(actual comment btw) but because it was built up from the fact that neither of them thought that their feelings would ever be reciprocated.
When Barth confesses he's afraid of loosing tanrak, he even asks if tanrak is angry when he first kissed him. Similarly after overthinking about how barth doesn't feel the same, he finally got to know that his feelings are reciprocated.
Hence the intensity.
Ep4 scene where he says about not being able to control himself has the same desire if you look at their acting, barth comes a little closer and tanrak looks at his lips and then barth smiles because he realises that tanrak is saying that they should not be close but deep down he needs him in the same way
And I also saw someone say barth didn't even try to kiss tanrak...i am sorry that's the point ??
He literally heard tanrak say that he would choose god over everything, tanrak even says that his heart wavering is the only thing he can be feeling not more than that. He gives him the eye that they are in church and leaves him when barth even tried to talk in front of jesus. So knowing it will hurt tanrak why would barth force himself on him. So when tanrak says he can't control himself, barth asked if tanrak is happy, he wants to know if it's not just a flutter or desire and it's more.
The majority of ep3 was also them flirting, the only difference is in the fact that tanrak knows his feelings are reciprocated so the only fear on his mind was his religion. Ep3 kiss was heat of the moment, pent up feelings and expressing the storm in their hearts and ep4 whole waterfall + kiss is knowing that according to tanrak he shouldn't do it but barth feels home to him so it's about learning to be in that feeling of love and the peace that love brings to him.
If they did anything more than this then in the next ep, when tanrak pushes him away it would not make sense.
And about people not understanding tanrak's motivations to hold faith so close and there isn't enough backstory, ep1 had us showing his childhood and ep2 he talks about his mother and visiting that statue with her. In fact every single scene shows why he's so attached. He was a child who lost his parents. And if you've ever felt loss of any kind you would know that time doesn't heal it, you learn to cope and live with that feeling.
He couldn't bear the fact that he would never see his parents again so when he was told he'd see them again if he reached heaven, he held onto that. That was his way to continue his life. Religion was what he held on to. He says in ep4 how he cried everyday but then this became his life, the routine the discipline and the only goal was to become a priest. Like that boy hasn't seen the world, this is all he has and all he knows
Infact, he holds faith so strongly for the same reason most people follow their religion. He was brought up in it.
And then all his life he thought he would be priest. It's difficult to shake off and change course of our lives suddenly and I think everyone of us can relate to it when to comes to our personal goals too
I think some of you are chasing what the episodes are supposed to make you feel rather than what the characters are feeling
agreed. honestly, i’d probably turn into kong too. it’s not even jealousy, really. it’s more like, “damn, why are you like this?” you’ve got a new friend now, and suddenly it feels like you’ve forgotten about me.
and honestly, after hearing tanrak talk to barth about kong, saying he’s basically sulk of everything and then joking about wanting to punch him, i can’t even imagine how kong would feel if he heard all of that. i’d be devastated, not gonna lie :( hope their bond getting better next ep :(( #TicketToHeavenEP4
as much as the second episode focused on the lust part of love and the third one depicted fear and confession, having the fourth one portray the innocence underlining of it all was a beautiful choice. both the daisies/baby’s breath and the sheep being eternal symbols of purity. because love encompassing all of it is what makes it the most powerful. and so, so much patience.

tanrak badly wants a kiss here, like he NEEDS it. and barth knows too, he saw tanrak's eyes on his lips so he had that little smirk on his face. gosh the way tanrak was holding barth's hand sooo tightly as if he was trying to control himself from letting go once again like he said in this scene as well. his eyes speak on behalf of him, this scene is sooo gooddd 🫠💘

The most heartbreaking thing when Barth heard Tanrak's conversation with Master was that he watched all three people that he had loved in his life have always put God first even if it meant hurting him.. Its like a reality check for him yet once again. I understand where Tanrak is coming from, loving God is all he has known his whole life, but when Barth heard Tanrak's words, he most probably felt like because of God he is once again being left behind and hurt... It kinda makes sense why its so hard for Barth to turn back to God because in his mind whenever people around him choose God, he ends up getting hurt💔
Barth has always struggled with his faith and his relationship with God but he never responds with bitterness or resentment. Instead he asks the most heartbreaking and important question of all that why was he never chosen, and why was his desperate prayers were never answered :((

🎬: For P'Joe, I thought of @ Sea_tawinan because we've worked together before. Sea's discipline, determination, and overall attitude immediately made me believe he could truly represent P'Joe. On the very first day he found out he got the role, Sea asked for the entire script to read on his own right away. Just hearing that, I thought to myself, 'This is exactly P'Joe.'
🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 thank you so much for believing in him kaa, P’ 🙏🏻
seeing tanrak finally feel free made me cry. all this time, he’s been on his own, and he must have felt so lonely. he can only let everything out when he’s with barth, look at him when he shouted while smiling oh my baby he must be so happy :(
#TicketToHeavenEP4
the sweetest series ever😭😭 barth keeps giving tanrak flowers whenever he can and then tanrak turning each one into drawings (12 in total) plus a ‘B’ and their little xoxo game. he keeps every memory of barth just to look at before sleeping😭😭

Barth having a cross necklace back then, oh he was a believer. And him saying "I guess God was busy" in the most sarcastic tone, hits home for me as a former Catholic. You go thru hell and back crying, praying, hoping things wud get better and what do you received from the other end? Dead silence. And then you feel like a fool who clings onto something that doesn't exist.
I understand him so much.

barth isn’t asking for permission to become someone else. he’s trying to be seen for who he has always been. every word he speaks carries the exhaustion of hiding, while every word from his father reveals the weight of expectations, fear, and beliefs that have built a wall between them. neither of them is shouting simply to win; they’re fighting over whether barth’s truth has a place in his own home.
the scene captures a reality many LGBTQ+ people know too well: the fear that the people whose love matters most might see honesty as disappointment. yet Barth’s decision to stand in his truth, even when it costs him comfort, becomes an act of quiet courage
"I love you so much,
I love you so much Barth"
"I'm tired, tired of having to hide this relationship"
in the next ep, we'll be swimming in tears💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

notice the contrast bt these scenes.
tanrak uses the bible to preserve barth’s flowers, so the sacred text, despite his inner conflict, is still tied to love.
but for barth, the same book represents violence and abuse, the one his father angrily threw at him:

Tanrak may not fully realize it yet, but after the kiss, he has already chosen Barth. He hesitated to take off the rosary, yet he still did it. He might face more challenges ahead, but I feel like love will win, because love is something God gave to everyone.

This scene surprised me more than any other. Most of us already knew that Tanrak's wants to become a priest and devote himself to God came from wanting to reunite with his parents in heaven. But hearing him openly admit that if given a choice he wouldn't choose this path feels like the biggest turning point in his character so far. It's the first time he's truly voiced the conflict between what he feels he must do and what he actually wants for himself

I always want to see nong Fourth act in coming of age story with heavy theme and character. And Tanrak came to his life at the right time.
For me his strong side is realistic story. When I saw him acted in MLC, I realize Fourth have THE actor’s eyes. I was amazed a whole time when I watched this episode. Tanrak’s eyes changed from innocent, happy to confused, shameful of his body reaction, tried to avoid and suppress his true feelings. Then finally gave up to his desperately desire towards Barth after the confession
Throughout episode 3, we could see the wall surrounding Tanrak's heart becoming more fragile, esp after he realizes his feelings for Barth. These feelings grow stronger day by day, but because they are so strange at that time, he tries so hard to ignore them.
Everyone knows that when you like someone, you always want to be near them, see them, touch them, and do silly things to get their attention. Tanrak not only gets to be near the person he likes but also receives his attention and care.
Every time Barth intentionally touched Tanrak or care about Tanrak, we could see Tanrak smile secretly. I don't know if everyone noticed, Tanrak’s voice became smaller each time Barth tried to touch him. Esp in the bathroom scene, when Barth tried his one last chance and touched Tanrak more aggressive, Tanrak’s voice was completely silent. I think Tanrak would probably have completely submitted to his own feelings at that moment if no one came to the bathroom and pulled him back to reality.
Tbh, Tanrak never been able to hide his feelings with Barth for a long time. Every time someone mentioned Barth and Cherry, he showed it very clearly that he not happy, but he didn't realize it except Barth. Perhaps at first Tanrak treated Barth well because it was a task that Father Arnon assigned for him. But as time went by, he got to know more about Barth, got closer to him, did a lot of things that he never dare to do, received the care and love from Barth that make Tanrak open his heart for him.
In the end, Tanrak just a lonely child yearning for love.
How can Tanrak decide ? His belief in God and the longing for his deceased parent. Or the happiness he finally can have after a long time.
