Beaches all around Puerto Rico. Plays Buye was beautiful but crowded. Escambron had fun snorkeling but the little secluded beach by us was one of our favorites. We love when the locals ask us how we found it. This is where we paused, relaxed and recharged.

Drove an hour to Johnstown to cheer on my son at his XC meet. Time seeing him on the course -maybe 2 mins. He PR’d. Then 1 hour to my daughter’s soccer game. They won. Then 30 mins home to take my son to his soccer game which they won. Today, 2-3 more soccer games. Fall wknds.

Watching my oldest play tennis, I don’t think I can beat him anymore. I know singles strategy but he can hit better & chase down my shots. We didn’t finish our match last time & I can’t say I want to. Bummed for me-super happy for him. Excited to see where he wants to take this.

Waking up early every morning for clay court tennis wasn’t in the vacation plans but I’m happy for it.

Got Starbucks for my girl, jumped waves, beached, watched Brazil v Japan and now watching Djokovic play in Wimbledon. No complaints.

Rafa. I watched him in his prime in an era of tennis I’m not sure I’ll see again. I never knew the suffering he went through to get where he was. No water for the 1st hour of practice, learned to play tennis left handed, rare bone disease in his foot so he played in constant pain

Both my boys can beat me at pickleball now. But they just lost to me & argu that I am the wind master. How unfair it was even though we switched sides at 6 pts. My shots are consistent but against the wind, they barely go over the net so drops & w/ the wind they are lethal & flat

Back at the fields where it all started. My daughter is reffing 2nd graders before her game later. Coaches instructing kids “Where are you going w/ the ball? What’s the right thing to do?”

My youngest played a game there when it hailed & the game ended. Now, they just play on…

Walking to my gate at MIA to go home is pretty depressing. Every gate I’ve passed is to some exotic location. St. Lucia, Dominica, Bahamas, Angola, Tortola, Marsh Harbour, Eleuthera, etc.

Blue sky basin in Vail closed for the season. It is the back most bowl in Vail & where we like to go if we go to Vail. Had we had elected to go skiing on spring break this year, it wouldn’t even be an option.

What a wknd! Culmination of the craft show that my daughter and her cousin teamed up for. They had a month to prepare and did a great job! I was either at the venue or at soccer. There was no in between.

Spring skiing when it’s almost 60 is wild thing. I’m thinking I’ll snowboard though. Skied for the first time in years last week to teach my niece and she’s a natural. I did hit almost 25mph which was terrifying but still a snails pace compared to my kids 50-60mph.
