@JujuliaGrace My new Reform councillor has stood for 3 different political parties in the last 4 years worth of elections - she must be desperate for that city councillor allowance! You couldn’t make it up! #plymstock
@CrossCountryUK my daughter is travelling 17.03 Manchester Piccadilly to Plymouth this evening, changing at Bristol temple meds to get the 20.45. Please advise what train she needs to get to make that Bristol connection to Plymouth. Will her seat reservation be honoured?
@CrossCountryUK Thank you - assuming so can use the connecting seat she has booked from Bristol as it’s the same one she was booked on originally ( 20.45 to Plymouth)
@bphillipsonMP This is great for those that qualify, maintenance loan level need to be looked at, daughter gets £4915, her accommodation £8952 in Manchester. She works part time but we as parents are paying this.Worrying rumours about taxing bank of mum and dad are scaring us all.
If you are travelling on any @biggreencoach this weekend, be careful. Belongings dumped in pile on arrival at #creamfields yesterday, daughter and friend had their sleeping bags stolen. Plymouth/exeter bus.
@MichaelRosenYes This makes me so sad. There is such joy in singing together and this connects with children on a deeper level. The complex SEN children I work with may not be able to communicate verbally, but they can hum and respond physically to familiar tunes and nursery rhymes.
@AlisonGeorge10@wesstreeting Would be tricky at my GP surgery in Devon where GPs only do remote appointments, I’m thankful to the nurse practitioner who referred my daughter for ENT surgery she’s been seeing GPs for since she was 6 (12 years).
@AshValeCommuter@MartinSLewis Unlikely to recover in the 4 months before her first year uni accommodation bill hits (uni accommodation is double the full maintenance loan she’s been awarded).
@ATRightMovies Still in my top 3 favourite films, saw it the night it was released with my boyfriend (now husband of 26 years). Watched it with my daughter,17, about 6 mths ago who did not get it. Still love it all, soundtrack, casting, everything about it.
@LauraPAuthor I feel the same - 10 years without my mum this year. My daughter got an unconditional Uni offer today, Mum was the first person I thought of telling …..it never seems to get any easier.
@Otto_English No more pet passports which means vets can charge you £170 a pop for each overseas trip with your pooch rather than £250 for a 3 year passport with unlimited trips.
@sarajcox Dogsitting my son’s cavapoochon Nala. It was like the very hungry caterpillar with household items inc daughter’s retainer £250, Gucci sunglasses £200, boots £60, selection of underlay, college enrolment letter, in total about £800 worth in 4 weeks. Never again!
@DrNeilStone When people can’t get b12 via their GP, this is the type of thing they’ll resort to. I can’t see where NICE guidelines don’t have to be followed but many many many people having access to b12 injections curtailed by GPs.
