古川です。みなさまのお手元に「Nintendo Switch 2」をお届けすべく、事前に多くの部材を調達し、生産を進めてきました。4月2日には「Nintendo Switch 2」の詳細を発表し、マイニンテンドーストアで抽選販売の応募を開始しましたが、その結果、日本だけで約220万人という非常に多くの方に応募いただきました。ただ、これは私たちの事前の想定を大幅に上回っており、マイニンテンドーストアから6月5日にお届けできる「Nintendo Switch 2」本体の数量を大きく超えてしまっております。したがいまして大変残念なことに、明日4月24日の当選発表においては、相当数のお客様が当選しないことが想定されます。

マイニンテンドーストアでは、第1回の抽選販売で当選されなかった方の再応募のお手間を避けるため、第1回の抽選販売で当選されなかった方を第2回の抽選販売に自動的に繰り越して抽選させていただきます。ですが、第2回抽選販売の数量を含めても、いただいたご応募すべてにお応えすることはできません。事前に準備をしていたにもかかわらず、みなさまのご期待にお応えできないことを深くお詫びいたします。

現在、この需要を受けて、さらに生産体制を強化するなどの取り組みを行っております。また、製品の出荷については、明日4月24日以降、全国のゲーム取扱店やオンラインショップで、順次「Nintendo Switch 2」本体の予約または抽選販売の受付が始まります（詳しくは各販売店様のご案内を確認ください）。マイニンテンドーストアにおいても、発売日以降も継続的に販売を行っていきます（詳細は後日改めてお伝えします）。今後も販売店様のご協力を得ながら出荷を続けて、みなさまのお手元に少しでも多くの「Nintendo Switch 2」がお届けできるよう、努力を続けて参ります。

なお、「Nintendo Switch 2」は今後も相当数を生産・出荷していく計画を立てています。みなさまのご期待にお応えできるようになるまで、お時間をいただくことになってしまい大変申し訳ございませんが、何卒ご理解を賜りますようお願い申し上げます。
