@askdepop REAL ACTIVE SELLERS — read this.
You can spend years building a store, maintaining great customer satisfaction, helping a platform grow — and lose it overnight with no clear explanation.
Remember: growth on platforms is rented, not owned.
ADVICE: Build what you control.
@askdepop FOR REAL SELLERS—read this.
After years of building,selling, and maintaining strong customer satisfaction, it’s frustrating to see how quickly access can be removed with little clarity.
SELLERS:diversify. Build assets you own.

@askdepop@depop Hi, my account @Closettfortheworld was recently suspended and I’m requesting a review. I’m a very active seller who values the Depop community. I’d truly appreciate help resolving this 🙏

My account @Closettfortheworld was recently suspended and I’m hoping for a review.
I’m a very active seller who values the Depop community and always aim to follow platform policies.
If there was any misunderstanding, I’m more than willing to resolve it immediately.🙏
@askdepop I’m a very active seller on Depop and have always stayed in close communication with the Depop team and my buyers. I genuinely value the platform and the community it has built.
The suspension of my account, Closettfortheworld, came as a surprise, and I believe it wrong
@askdepop
Suspending active sellers with no clear explanation stunts seller growth and creates buyer disputes.
Top Canadian seller here — no policy clarity, only automated emails.
This isn’t how you scale a marketplace. Proof all sales we're done in app

Marketplaces grow when sellers grow. Cutting off communication mid-transaction hurts buyers, sellers, and the platform itself. Transparent enforcement and real support matter. @askdepop@depop
@BuddiesCollars@Etsy It's sad because sellers spend so much time and effort to make their store work out and still make lovely art for people . Just for @Etsy to close your account with no reason knowing fully well that this affect buyers trust
@Etsy
is a joke
@Etsy How does a shop with real sales, real reviews, and no IP violations get suspended with no clear explanation?
Appeal submitted for IloveArtCreationsCo (ID 22510167).
Automated enforcement without human review is hurting legitimate sellers. Please review.
@askdepop Restricting with no human review is an operational risk. When communication is cut, disputes rise and growth stalls. @depop makes it so hard for growth on their platform ,I’m one of the most active fashion cities globally and active sellers are what keep this platform alive.
@askdepop@depop
As a high-volume seller, accounts being restricted mid-order with no human review is a serious operational risk. Removing seller communication increases disputes and slows growth. Long-term platforms need human oversight — not automation that blocks revenue.
@askdepop@depop
Canadian seller here with strong metrics and in-app sales only. Losing communication access during live orders caused disputes outside my control. Asking for fairness and review.
@askdepop The response was the same bot email response that @depop keeps sending I have communicated , I have explained I reached out in the past previously , all this still gets my account treated unfairly.@askdepop forget that active sellers keep the platform up but still get no growth
@askdepop Hi @askdepop — my seller account @Closettfortheworld was recently closed and I’m hoping to get clarity or a manual review. I’ve submitted an appeal and would really appreciate any guidance on next steps. Thank you.
@Etsy Watching more and more legitimate sellers get locked out of their Etsy shops by automated systems is wild.
Appeals take weeks while businesses are frozen.
@EtsySupport please prioritize human review for active sellers. Appeal ID 22510167.
@askdepop Month after. @askdepop
I’ve consistently provided feedback on how Depop can grow in markets like Canada 🇨🇦, yet sellers here face unnecessary restrictions that stall momentum.
Growth doesn’t happen by silencing the people building the marketplace.
