Be kind to everyone. You never know what they are dealing with. People who are massively suffering usually hide it from almost everyone because their illness prompts them to, so that it can continue to manifest itself without interference - and many people hide it very well.

I get the impression people think suicidal thoughts = standing on a ledge like in the movies, but let me tell you, ending a day being ‘ALMOST completely sure’ you’ll still be alive tomorrow, not knowing for certain, is really fucking awful - and you seldom hear those stories.
