If giving the cross sex hormones oestrogen and progesterone to men turned them into pubescent girls and/or women it would also reverse menopause in women. However, exogenous oestrogen and progesterone only serve to alleviate some of the debilitating symptoms of menopause in women and provide them with some protection from developing cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and dementia. This is because being a woman is far more complex than the level of oestrogen and progesterone her endocrine system produces or is smeared onto her skin. Hence why HRT doesn’t reverse menopause and give a middle aged woman her youthful fertility and menstrual cycles back. So how could women’s HRT turn a middle aged man into a woman, or into a pubescent girl as some of them claim?

If you’re in the “transwomen are women” camp, stop and think about that for a moment. Why do you think a man can become a woman or girl anymore than I, a 56 year old woman can become a 16 year old girl by simply stating that’s how we feel and by taking HRT?
