I looked at the driver like,
“wait… is that a kitten?”

“yeah. this little girl just became my problem.”
apparently, a woman had gotten into his car a few minutes earlier holding her.
before getting out, she asked,
“would you take her? I can’t keep her. If nobody takes her, I’m going to have to leave her somewhere.”
