Georgie is just too adorable. Connor: [dramatic] Can you imagine being locked in this tower and mercilessly slaughtered by your own uncle?
Georgie: [simply] no.
They balance each other so well. I really enjoy alive on the Spectrum.
I subbed my favorite group of Diverse Learners today. It was my 2nd time subbing the mostly nonverbal group and they were wonderful again. We read Pete the Cat, did an art project, and had a blast dancing with Bino and Fino. My heart, they stole. 😊 https://t.co/6YAWIBlxuD
STILL in Leviticus, but made it to chapter 25 out of 27. Will definately be moving onto Numbers before March is over. Excited about getting another book deeper into the Bible on my cover to cover reading journey.
Currently reading A Low Country Bride by Preslaysa Williams and the MC has “ten to fifteen years [of life] left on planet Earth.”
Made me wonder what would make the bucket list 🤔
Subbing middle school Civics today and found a gem on the book shelf. Short Stories of the Civil Rights Movement edited by Margaret Earley Whitt.
Started reading at page 205 and I’m hooked. The storytelling is gripping and the writing carried me back in time. Love this!!
My 9-year old asked me, “Are people books?” I said, “We can write books about our lives but we aren’t books.” He said, “Then why do we have spines.” 🤣🤣🤣How could I not to love about a good literacy joke.❤️
Sub diaries: another great week of subbing 1st grade, a SPED cluster at Kinder level, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Science, and 4th and 5th grade SPED Math & ELA.
My takeaway: I just love the process of learning and helping others grow in knowledge. The subject doesn’t matter, nor the age. The transference of knowledge is what excites me. 😁
